I was anticipating this because of Mark and Yaya. I'm starting to find it boring. Yaya's portrayal as naive and gullible is so annoying, not to mention the aunt and female cousin. The humor is too exaggerated - physical actions, facial expressions, gestures, and situations. It feels so 80s; I never expected this style to be used in dramas in 2024.
Really !!Before watching this series did you read its genres and tags or even its name If you are not ready for…
I'm totally aware this show is categorized as a romance series and contains mature scenes - the genres and tags set clear expectations. My critique is specifically that too much screen time centers around gratuitous intimate moments rather than further developing the storyline or characters themselves.
While steamy scenes can absolutely have an artistic place enhancing a plot when done thoughtfully, I feel several of the sexual interludes here seem to just check a box without meaningfully carrying the narrative forward.
Rather than broadly dismissing certain genres offhand if sex scenes make some viewers uncomfortable, my feedback focuses on this exact show diluting its creative potential by overlooking opportunities for plot depth in favor of prolonged intimate footage that leaves less run time for substantive progression.
I understand the nature of the show given its classification and am offering targeted commentary that the writing leaves the characters feeling quite one-dimensional as their connections play out predictably physical rather than genuinely emotional. I still believe that imbalance merits fair criticism despite awareness of general genre themes audiences can expect.
• The writing and direction became weak, lacking ideas to sustain the full storyline. • The runtime was shortened and padded with behind-the-scenes footage rather than plot. • The original story could have been told in fewer episodes. • The editing was poor in the later episodes. • Many questions were left unresolved by the end rather than tying up loose ends.
What a waste of actors' talent - - drama is such a waste of time.
