Contrary to your opinion, I think that this topic should be explored by series to teach the audience of the danger…
I see where you’re coming from, and you’re right—these topics shouldn’t be taboo. People need to feel safe sharing their experiences. But my issue isn’t with showing the topic itself—it’s how it’s portrayed. If a series chooses to tackle something this serious, it needs to be done with sensitivity and responsibility. When it’s used for shock value or drama without real accountability, it becomes harmful. So yes, tell the story—but tell it right. No glorifying, no softening, and definitely no redemption arcs unless it ends behind bars.
I know it happens in real life, but rape is wrong and should never be commercialized in series or films. Sexual predators should not be given a platform. This rape scene ruined everything in the series. I feel sorry for Akin—he fell from the top all the way down to rock bottom. Such a pity. That Johnny is such an a-hole.
The pairing is good-they are cute, but the execution is poor. I wish GMMTV would stop making overly cutesy BL series and focus more on mature and serious themes. A little bit of cuteness is fine from time to time, but don't overdo it. What a waste!
The sad reality of the penitentiary is that instead of reforming, prisoners are forced into violence just to survive and see the outside world again. However, in the process, they sink even deeper into wrongdoing.
Min Hyun really suits the role—he looks innocent, acts well, has great skills, and a nice physique. He’s not overdoing the character. He’s super charming when he’s naive and so cool when he’s tough! This is one hell of a good series.
How about you just drop the whole show if its not your thing. And let me and 900000 others enjoy it coz as far…
My goodness, I didn't realize ticket sales were the definitive measure of artistic merit. By that logic, I suppose fast food chains serve the finest cuisine in the world. And you're absolutely right - how dare anyone critique anything without having personally created a masterpiece in that field? I'll be sure to never comment on politics until I've been president, or on architecture until I've built a skyscraper. But since you're so invested in constructive dialogue (as evidenced by your delightful 'futsek'), I'll take your thoughtful advice and leave you to enjoy your flawless entertainment in peace. Wishing you many more sold-out theaters and zero critical thinking.
Domundi really has a habit of creating foolish-looking characters. First, there was 'Jade' played by Yim in The Middleman's Love. And now this 'Teerak'. It's not even cute, it's just annoying.
just my guessworkthis season/part 1 will focus on main couples- hill & easter- johan & northside couple- neo &…
just noticed this ~~ Adapted from the novels " East : Tag!, You're Mine" and "North: How Much Is Your Love?" by Howlsairy. So, will there be Season 2???
While Nirattisai Ratphithak has created numerous impressive BL series, "Bad Guy My Boss" stands out as a particularly problematic production. Rungradit Rungamonwanit, whose directorial debut was "Chains of Heart" - a project that was widely considered underwhelming - seems to be struggling to elevate his craft with this latest work. The series appears to be a testament to the challenges of translating potential into effective storytelling. Rungradit needs significant improvement in his role as both an acting coach and director. His works so far suggest a fundamental disconnect between conceptual potential and actual execution. "Chains of Heart" was already a weak foundation, and "Bad Guy My Boss" seems to further underscore his difficulties in creating compelling narrative and character development. In the competitive landscape of BL series, where nuanced storytelling and character chemistry are paramount, such missteps can be particularly detrimental. The director needs to critically examine his approach.
