It says, ‘Adapted from the webtoon Cinderella at 2 A.M. (새벽 두 시의 신데렐라) by Algome (아이고메).’ But is the age gap really that big? 38 and 24? I’m not against age gaps, but isn’t 14 years a bit much?
Please, GMMTV, Fourth and Gem are grown-ups now; give them more challenging roles. Enough with the middle school-type BL dramas. A university setting would be a good start. Or maybe take a cue from BOC after DFF and the currently airing 4 Minutes. Your actors are talented—stop making them play silly roles. Also, I want to watch a series with a good storyline, not just a bunch of ads.
Is Ai's character really like that in the novel? He's acting too childish. What's the problem? Why can't he tell Yu about what he's seeing in his dreams?
It’s hard not to compare this to the Chinese dramas Addicted and Stay With Me. They seem to have watered down Pop’s character, making him much weaker compared to the other adaptations. Plus, with actors this young, how can they even pull off steamy scenes? This one leans more towards being a typical cute, lighthearted Thai BL set in middle school.
Can’t they give TutorYim a more decent project? Something that truly showcases how talented they are, rather than some absolute nonsense. A project on the same level as Cutie Pie, Naughty Babe, or Bed Friend. Not something like Middleman's Love. I love them; I just want to see them grow by taking on more substantial roles.
This was difficult to rate—short and bittersweet. The chemistry and acting were good, and they looked good together. (Also, the girl really got on my nerves, while I understand that she had her reasons and I can't entirely blame her). It could have been better if it had been made into a 10-episode series at least.
It makes me wonder: who is the real "bad guy"? Is it Tae Ha, who was set to get married to pursue a 'normal life' but had the marriage called off, or Ji Un, who chose to pursue Tae Ha and destroy a relationship?
Submissive? I'm not sure yet. Bottom? Yes, definitely, but bottoms don’t necessarily have to be submissive.…
I wasn't referring to sexual roles or BL dynamics. In layman's terms, 'submissive' can simply mean someone who tends to be obedient, yielding, or compliant in general behavior or personality. It's about being willing to follow others' lead or put others' needs first, not necessarily in a sexual context. For example, a submissive person might:
Readily agree with others' suggestions Prioritize others' comfort over their own Be more of a follower than a leader in group settings
Not making assumptions about intimate relationships. The role is very much different from a 'very dominant' Vegas of KP.
@bogler I believe you asked this out of curiosity . I'm so surprised how normal across bl fandom it is to ask…
I appreciate your perspective on this sensitive topic. To clarify, I didn't intend to stereotype or label anyone. When I used the term 'submissive', I wasn't referring to sexual roles or BL dynamics. This trait can exist independently of any romantic or sexual dynamics. I was curious about the character's general personality, not making assumptions about intimate relationships. The role is very much different from a 'very dominant' Vegas of KP. Thank you for bringing this up.
After Last Twilight I can say that Sea can really deliver!
