Both the MCs have female love interests while the older one's love interest is quite acceptable, the younger one's is very irritating and feels really unnecessary. Stopped watching.

What a shitty but realistic ending!!! Although I could tell where the story is going and who the culprit were just after watching the 1st 7 episodes , The acting of the cast was phenomenal..and the background music was just so fitting..I wouldn't mind a few more episodes.
Edit: Just compmeted it. Once you get past like ep 6, it's not actually bad. There are a lot of boring moments scattered throughout. But if you FF those, it is a fair show. It picks up rhe pace in the later episodes. I was actually left wanting for more in the end and not because of the classic cliffhanger!! Wu Xie's behavior does get better.
One thing that was very obviously missing from this show was Xiao Ge in actual action. We don't see that at all. Which is probably one of the major factor that made this drama underwhelming.
