She was thoroughly backed into a corner and there was no move left for her that would save her ultimate goal of becoming the next president.

There was nothing Yohan could have done that would have saved her reputation enough for her to run as president and she knew it.

They destroyed her image so damn thoroughly that even with the promise from Yohan to "save her" if she handed them the files, it would have simply been impossible to do anything.

She was motivated by her sole goal of being the next president (not family, or money or anything else...) and that just wasn't ever gonna happen for her anymore. Of course she took her own life. I could smell it a mile away.

Wether consciously or unconsciously (idk), they cornered her so tightly that there was no other viable exit for that character.

To mirror Gaon last episode, her entire world is him. Because that's what the writing team did to her. Consciously. In 2021. Unbelievable.

And then we have Gaon who openly states that his entire world is her but who hasn't acted accordingly for the pasts few months. Hell, for the past 20 years if we listen. And that's a whole different kind of Unbelievable.

Same, she's completely unhinged and I live for it.

Sometimes she looks like an excited little kid, eyes wide, cute innocent smile... and boom, she'll do something so inherently evil there's absolutely no coming back from it and it fascinates me.

I'm also insanely curious about how the conversation would have gone if Yohan had answered Ga On's phonecall after their break-up.

I'm confused as to why Soo Hyun's first train of thought when she saw Ga On's hands on Minister Cha Kyung Hee's body was that he had something to do with her death instead of "maybe he's checking for a pulse or something".

I get that she's obsessively suspicious of Yohan but Ga On's supposed to be her childhoods BFF... A little trust maybe ?
