I don't know about that, I might be totally wrong but he shut down both Mijoo and Youngran and I don't get the vibe that he was keeping himself back or anything.
If the new girl character from last night's ep is introduced to become a love interest (or even just hint at a romance) for Soo Hyun, I'm gonna take it as an umpteenth slap to the face.
All this romance is already close to unbearable, not to mention the problematic and very intentional LGBT erasure...
