The scene at the tomb, after the director cut, Bai Lu stayed in character.

The love story here is messed up. I hate the two main lead
It's painful, but i like stories where i could learn a thing or two. Their love story would've been lovely if only it was possible to totally get rid of his status as devil fetus but alas.

Now that I've had a few hours to rage, I'm okay with the ending. TTJ seemed so peaceful. He finally found the…
It was painful but also beautiful. To have lived a life like that, it's understandable why TTJ would choose to relieve himself of all troubles and worries. It still hurts as a viewer tho lol

The scenes at the tomb of tantai jin's memorial right next to ye xiwu got me sobbing fr.

Luo Yunxi's look of longing, resignation, and acceptance of his fate vs Bai Lu's painful crying from anguish, regret and loss were devastatingly beautiful.

I was half prepared for the BE but their raw emotions didn't spare me from the pain that their characters felt. I'm not a fan of BE, I was actually debating whether to watch this or not but I didn't regret that I did. I'm actually going to rewatch, this is the kind of love story and acting that I'm willing to cry over more than once.

Kudos to the cast especially to the leads Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu! 🤎

That's why I don't like how they made that rule about the lengths of dramas because so many things were left unanswered…
Is the limit on drama episodes a new rule? Is there no other way around it? You're right there are just too many loose threads in the ending i wish they focused on the ending more and how to make it feel "complete".
