Even dramas from different TV channels are performing well. The ratings for this is even lower than some Monday-Tuesday dramas. This is actually very surprising and I agree with you. Also given its high-profile cast and substantial budget I'm not getting the actual reason for it's so low ratings.

The tale of lady ok achieved double digits ratings yesterday despite its still premiering in the timeline where a high budget drama “Squid game" has come out.
I think you don't know anything about cable tv drama that premeier 1 ep cannot be double digit and not possible…
Make sure to get your facts right first. Jirisan had the highest premiere ratings, with a 9% rating for a non-sequel drama. The only drama that achieved double-digit ratings from its premiere was Hospital Playlist Season 2, but that was a sequel.
Given the massive budget and star-studded cast of this drama, I was expecting it to deliver impressive numbers. Also I know I was expecting too much from it. My bad 🙂
