Well, actually I think the ML`s reaction is a bit too much after FL leaves him. He sells his flat within a few weeks, with not even another flat rented? I love BTIMFL, but didn`t see that coming, it doesn`t really make sense.
So for me, I totally understand that the FL didn`t see it coming. She didn`t know or expect that he would react this way, did she?
I would never react like the FL did, knowing that he actually likes me back and still leave him. Yes, it feels false for me, too. The scene when she speaks first and tells him she wants to end the contract made me quite uncomfortable. But then - why doesn`t the ML speak up? Why doesn`t he talk to her about his feelings, as he planned before? He has the chance, and it is not as if he cannot talk, he has been very clear about things at other times with no problem at all. "I don`t like it when other people give my cat a name". He knew he hurt her a lot, but he didn`t try to relieve the situation. Since he was just being honest. So this time it is his turn to show his vulnerability by confessing his feelings, and he chooses not to do it.
I suppose his guardedness is difficult for the FL. She already heard about his intentions, but for her to feel close to her man she wants to see his true emotions.
I personally think the ending is weaker than the other episodes, because him seeling his house and being really depressed doesn`t add up for me. And I also felt uneasy for similar reasons as you, but I wouldn`t call it abusive behaviour. She decided for herself and leaves. It is not as if she watches from afar and looks how he is doing, waiting for him to break down.
When she is ready, she bakes that cake and intends to propose to him, if I remember it right - searching for him and finally finding him in the rooftop apartment.
So these are my reasons not seeing it in this way. I hope you can accept it like that. As Shiro said, it is good to mention problematic behaviour, so thank you for asking the question and supporting tsuyoi-hikari by doing so.

Haha, I don`t think you need to do that. Both dramas have their own charm, it doesn`t matter which one you watch first. IU doesn`t cry a lot in My Mister, she is a very calm and mentally strong FL. She is amazing. I hope you will like it!

I felt the ML was such a great guy. I don`t think he behaved unmanly or submissive in any aspect. I see a man who takes responsibility not only for himself, but also for his siblings and mother, for his work and the team he works with. For me it makes sense that he also takes responsibility for his wife`s infidelity. His wife isn`t "a girl who sleeps around". She, too, takes responsibility, earns money for her family, they brought up a son together and shared a big part of their life.
I wish there were more men out there who take responsibility for the things that happen. As you say, it is hardly believable that a man reacts in this way. It is always easy to blame others, so this is more likely to happen. This ML doesn`t go the easy way, and for me, who watches, it is amazing to see a story about a man who lives in such an unlikely way, and the people who meet him and get inspired by him.
And I agree with popcxqueen and Shiro - how you see things is one matter, using the word pussy like this is mysogynistic.

For me, personally, Another Miss Oh, My Mister and My Liberation Notes feel similar, but it depends on your perception.
