I think it would be much more enjoyable for you and your friend if you watched the 1st film, because without the original background story there will be alot of things you don't understand. I think you can definitely get by just watching the 2nd though :). I'm really sorry it's not available in your country, but I really hope you guys can enjoy the movie nonetheless <3
