I hadn't planned to watch it but since I wanted to take my mind off from my personal life I decided to watch it and I saw the first 2 eps in 1 go. I was so blown away by the characters in the story coz its not the usual cliche kdrama characters. These characters are so FLAWED in their own way and they are proud of it rather than sulking over it. They are Happy the way they are and it's quite relatable to me.
Coming to FL, SSK has improved alottt since Bride of Habaek. I never expected that she could enact such a character so accurately. The ML, ISW was no doubt phenomenal in Strangers from hell but here his character arch is so quirky and makes you want to know what he's gonna do next. The SFL, is straightforward and has got an attractive aura round her and not to forget her idol brother who's dying to get her attention. The second ML is artsy and has a cute boxy smile, I'm expecting more of him in coming episodes.
All in all its one of a kind drama and I'm so ready for their LOVESTORIES. Both the leads have a fiery chemistry and I can't wait to watch more of them :)
WOW ! This drama is a masterpiece !!! I had been delaying this one for a few years and my friends were hellbunt in recommending this one to me. I thought that this kind of retro story isn't my cup of tea but guess what I'm binge watching it since last 2 days inbetween my work from home schedule. Actually I was glued to Record Of Youth (ROY) kdrama starring park bo gum and alot of people commented about his acting in reply 1988 and Hyeri making a cameo in ROY. So I googled and now I'm here swooning over this beautiful drama :):):):):):) AND I ENDED UP LOVING JUNG HWAN (RYU JOON YEOL) !!!!
I'm still on Epi 5 and I really feel bad for Hyun Ho. Jung Kyung has been expressionless this entire time, she seems so loaded and stressed about something, maybe its because the character is written that way. The only good thing about this drama are the leads and their story, rest all the characters seem messy already. Chae song and Joon young are so adorable, their character growth has been improving in every episode and I'm sure their relationship will propgress in further episodes but their friends are absolutely annoying. I just hope that they find calm in each others company and end up pursuing their dreams by defeating all odds.
I think the plot is very realistic which is different from other dramas and since its closer to reality maybe thats why viewers are finding it difficult to relate to it. Just my opinion, Its really good and the chemistry is so new and simple :)
Can we just take a moment and appreciate the amazing modelling scenes. I mean the music, the expressions, the costumes, the walk, the talk.....its just so glamorous !!!!!!!
