jong ryul wasn't a good partner because of his toxic mindset but he seems to really care about pil-gu so I hope that by the end of this drama he's still present in his life as his biological dad (im on ep 7)
I still cant understand Jun's reasoning for wanting them to think he died??? like ok he didnt want them to have…
congrats to lee jae wook for his award tho!!! he did an amazing job in this drama, and so did many of the other actors in this cast.....its just the writer who did a shitty job
I still cant understand Jun's reasoning for wanting them to think he died??? like ok he didnt want them to have to struggle while supporting him through his recovery so instead he thought causing them 19293x more pain by tricking them into thinking he died was a better alternative???? literally what the actual fuck im so confused......and don't even get me started on the way he decided to come back
TKEM for me, but I definitely have to agree with one of the worst I’ve seen since ... I’m sad ... :(
TKEM had a such a messy ending with way too many plot holes,,, the writer shouldn't have bothered delving into time travel in the first place if she didn't know how to do it properly
Im a few episodes in and I'm so incredibly heartbroken for Han tae jin (and Oh Hae Young) .... I honestly cant…
im already 8 eps in and I still cant find it in me to forgive main guy for what he did to main girls marriage (don't even get me started on how bad I feel for taejin)

I could be wrong but I cant remember him blaming his dad for the way he turned out? I only remember him saying that him cheating and winning the competition right afterwards really contributed to his low self esteem. also there have been many instances where I wanted to win for myself and not for my parents, especially in competitions...once again, that doesn't justify cheating but at 12yo I feel like he wanted to do better for himself not just his parents. And his parents may not have consciously pressured him but that doesn't mean he didnt put pressure on himself knowing how proud he would make his parents if he did well. The pressure got to him and he cheated in the spur of the moment...I feel like that's something a lot of us would do (that doesn't make it ok tho !!)
also imo maturing within a few years when your entire environment and the people you surround yourself changes is very plausible. If he leaves with Alex I'd be incredibly surprised if he didnt come back a few years later a changed man.

I completely understand and I definitely think everyone has every right to be upset at what he did because no it is not okay, cheating is never okay especially at this scale. HOWEVER, this kid was twelve years old max (idk exactly how old) and was put in a really stressful situation where he couldn't answer this question. He saw the answer and copied thinking it was just going to be a few more marks but those few extra marks ended up making him the (youngest) winner of the competition. I feel like anyone would feel really conflicted about who to come clean to and when to come clean. Dosan here already has low self-esteem, was very young and immature and obviously didn't know how he should deal with the situation. Dosan obviously holds immense guilt about the entire situation and has never felt the pride someone who won the math Olympiad would usually feel. I am NOT justifying his actions because he should NOT have done that in the first place. I'm just saying that I understand why he feels the way he did and I don't think its fair for us to hold what he did over 15 years ago when he was a child (which he obviously regrets) against him ://
Im a few episodes in and I'm so incredibly heartbroken for Han tae jin (and Oh Hae Young) .... I honestly cant think of anyway the ML can make up for what he did ahhh but so many people are happy with the ending so I'm assuming he pulls in off somehow
