and its crazy because there are so many scenes where there are just straight long stretches of silence and them just staring at each other but there's so so much written on their faces in those moments I could never bring myself to look away

I've heard they had to actively avoid each other during the filming because they couldn't stay in character when they spent time together as themselves. they're irl friendship dynamic is super mischievous and fun which clashed too heavily with their characters' relationship dynamic. they did such a good job though its really impressive how well they portrayed their characters despite being so different from them.
but yeah you should definitely rewatch - finished it last night and let me tell you, the rewatch isn't any less painful and my love for them only grew :''') I missed them sm. writing this alone is making me want to rewatch those last couple episodes ahhh love them SO MUCH

also realised that for some reason it displays significantly pinker on my tv than on my laptop, so if its an issue for you and you're watching it on the tv maybe consider switching devices

LOOOL pink and blue/grey filters is used quite generously in this drama.
