I know I'm overthinking this but, don't you find it weird that woohak's and mokha's names are similar in a way?…
hmmm interesting point but also....they're Korean so I don't think the romanised versions of their names is something that would have been taken into consideration
best part about this drama is probably the fact that neither couples get boring/lose their charm after actually getting together. eungyeol and eunyi especially
tbh im surprised people have any doubt that woohak ISN'T kiho. tbh it makes the most sense that bo geol is kiho but his nonchalance around mokha is rlly throwing me off. but yeah all I know is that woohak defs isn't kiho. im assumihn he was just around when kiho had his big climax scene when trying to escape father and he got hurt? lost his memories?
how's she supposed to know how to control a power she doesn't have?
this is quite a simplified analogy but: that's like expecting a mother to teach her tiny kid to drive a car based on written instructions when she doesn't know how to drive one and can't even get in the car herself if her kid were to at any point lose control of it (which would be a given because this is a CHILD we're talking abt) ..... why would she risk all that when she could just strap the car down and keep it from moving. like obviously she would find it hard to give him that freedom when she has no way of ensuring his safety??? that would be borderline neglectful????????? im confused at your confidence and audacity to call US immature for being able to empathise with what any sane capable mother would feel in this scenario LMAOO
that was so insanely good I have no words im sad that its over because the standards have risen so high up I don't think anything will top this for a long long time
currently watching this and its quite enjoyable? I rlly love the way ml deals with fl lmao fun dynamic. although I wish she'd stop with the (literal) pushing him around...I wince every time :////
oh btw not only is there no punishment for the trashy evil character, she also shows ZERO remorse up to the last…
but the premise ISN'T revenge? I think that by the end of the drama, it's pretty obvious that you're supposed to realise that (at least for these characters) there is no satisfaction in a successful revenge story. That's why we get woojoo revealing that she deeply regrets her actions at her dad's funeral and it'll probably haunt her forever. The things that woojoo's dad and dongjin's mum did were so horrible but the only way to heal from it all is to move on. At the end of the day, Dongjin still holds some intrinsic love for his mum (I think it would be VERY out of character of him to not feel anything but resentment for his mum) and same goes for Woojoo. That's not to say that moving on without one's parents being punished for their actions would work for EVERYONE but for these characters, with their respective personalities, moving on is the best thing they could do for themselves. We didn't see his mum get punished (even though she probably did in the end(?) tbh I can't even remember what happened to his mum? Did the police report end up going through??) because that's no longer IMPORTANT to them. Woojoo didn't want or need to see it, thus we didn't see it either. I mean it's not wrong of you to want to be satisfied as the viewer but that's not the route the writers decided to go with this drama. This isn't a revenge story, this is Woojoo's healing journey. I think it's a bit unfair to say the writing isn't good just because they didn't write it to your preferences because objectively they delivered exactly what they wanted to deliver through this drama.
