Initially, I approached this drama with the expectation of abandoning it at the first sign of boredom, hoping only to enjoy Lee Honey's comedy, which I admired in 'One The Woman'. With no anticipation of romance, given its absence in the MDL tags and my personal disinterest in 'noona romances'. To my delight, the outcome far exceeded my expectations. The drama presented two endearing couples whose pure romance and undeniable chemistry, despite the noticeable age gap, kept me thoroughly engaged throughout. While the storyline had its flaws, it still managed to surpass many lengthier historical dramas that often fall prey to repetition. Encountering such high-quality historical comedy is a rarity, I didn't come across any since 'Mr Queen'. I rate it 9.5/10—an admittedly subjective rating, but wholly justified by the sheer enjoyment it provided to me. This drama was an unexpected delight and thoroughly worth the watch. Highly recommended.
I watch it on Viki. The subtitle team has been doing great job and I usually can watch the new episodes in the…
I was referring to the latest episode, episode 12. VIKI has good subtitles, and I enjoy watching while reading timed comments. Unfortunately, their subtitles come out late. I'm too excited for the episode to wait until tomorrow, so I'm checking other websites
It seems that opting for 16 episodes was a poor decision for this drama. The introduction of a new antagonist was intended to enrich what remained of the episodes, but it ended up burying the character that represents the backbone of the story. Personally, I believe a full revenge plot from the outset would have been more captivating: the female lead orchestrating her friend's marriage to her ex-husband, only to lure him back herself while ensuring her friend experiences sufficient suffering. Instead, the plot took an unexpected turn, adding a new psycho and shifting the whole focus towards her. Despite these issues, I remain invested in the outcome and will continue watching. I'll also be eagerly anticipating the future projects of SHY; I didn't pay much attention to her in 'Fight for My Way,' but her acting here has changed a lot for me.
It's rare for me to feel this attached to a drama! With only two episodes left, I can't help but wish it wouldn't end so soon🥺. Usually, I'm just hoping I'll manage to stick with it until the end without losing interest.
