For those who are wondering how to watch the 5 movies, and from where you can start, and if you have to watch…
Rurouni Kenshin has 5 action movies:
_Release date order:
1_Rurouni Kenshin (2012)
2_Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (2014)
3_Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends (2014)
4_Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (2021)
5_Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning (2021)

_Plot Chronological Order:(The order I followed)
1_Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning (2021)
2_Rurouni Kenshin (2012)
3_Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (2014)
4_Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends (2014)
5_Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (2021)

_Which order is the best to follow? I think both orders have their pros and cons: the plot choronological order makes you appreciate "The Beginning" and feels like all the rest are not match to it, and doesn't allow you to connect to Kaoru (FL) in the other 4 movies or find any chemistry between her and the ML, because the FL in that movie (Tomoe) is so great. It takes away the mistery and the questions about the scar on the ML's face and his past life before becoming a Rurouni that unfold little by little on the way.
The Release date order spoils the whole plot of "The beginning" by the time you reach it, you'll already know everything from the flashbacks (especially "The Final" it spoils it all), you may like the FL in the first 4 movies more than someone who watched according The Plot Chronological Order (I doubt it though lol), so if you want to watch according the Release date Order, I recommend that you watch the first 3 then "The Beginning" before "The Final", you'll apreciate those 2 last movies more if you switch their order.

_You don't want to watch 5 movies and you want less:
_"Rurouni Kenshin (2012)": YES you can watch this one without watching the rest
_"Rurouni Kenshin:The beginning": YES, the best choice for a one movie, OR you can watch "Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (2021)" after it (with a 14 years gap in the events but it's the one that's connected to it most)
_"Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (2014)" & "Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends (2014)": YES you can watch the 2 without watching the rest but NOT one without the other. (But it's best if you watch them after "Rurouni Kenshin (2012)", makes you more familiar with the characters)
_"Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (2021)": YES, you can watch it without the rest (I don't recommend that, if you have too, watch it after "The Beginning", gives you more emotional connection with the main characters and the story).

As a fan of this title, I find it amusing bcos I really like Kaoru in the manga/anime and loved how somehow she…
You said all that I wanted to say about Kaoru, Tomoe and Misao in the live action movies
On Legend of Fu Yao Oct 29, 2023
It was really a good story but too draggy with some useless arcs . Fuyao character is so weak considering how the drama's name and the strong FL tags, she eat all the poisons that ever been mad in this drama and got drugged for more than I can count. 66 episodes were too much and it still ended up with a confusing ending while they had enough time to give a more clear one. It took me forever to finish it, I don't remember when I first started it but I dropped it a long time ago after watching more than 40 episodes then tried to pick it up after rewatching most of the episodes then I dropped it again on ep60 and I finally picked it up again yesterday to finish it finally today.
It had so much potentiel to be one of my TOPs C-dramas but unfortunatly the bad points took away part of it beauty.

9 asian languages in one song, that was fabulous. The Production gave it best for this movie, I traveled south east asia in 2h with the 2 main leads, what a beautiful ride! For a rom com movie, It's 9.5/10 for me.
I'm late so I must ask are they together for real now? I saw Nine confessing his feelings for her
