I first started watching this because I saw a scene that looked like it was set in Thailand. Thailand is my home country, and the food there is so good!! Especially the street food: boat noodles, fried rice, pad Thai, and drunken noodles 🤤 When I spotted the temples, I realized they were actually filming in Thailand. I didn’t expect to enjoy this drama as much as I did. If you ever get the chance, you should definitely visit Thailand hehe 🇹🇭💫💫
I binge-watched all 8 episodes today. This drama is addictive!! 🤭 can't wait for tomorrow. I love how they don't release one episode a week. It's everyday 😮💨
I’m still waiting for the Jeju Island bed scene. He told her to “wait” and then the drama hit the fast-forward button for 8 episodes. Sir… did you forget? 🤭
I do feel they didn't give her character enough growth. She was only concerned about getting caught but not once…
I agree the FL is not very smart, and the way her guilt is portrayed doesn’t always land well. The drama clearly leans into comedy, sometimes at the expense of the ML, which is especially frustrating given his trauma.
Where I see it differently is her intent. I don’t think she’s smiling because she’s lying, I read it more as a defense mechanism and immaturity. That doesn’t excuse her actions, but it explains why she keeps making poor choices instead of malicious ones.
I also agree that the ML proves himself trustworthy multiple times. However, from her point of view, he’s still her boss, her creditor, and the person who controls her job and financial stability. That power imbalance makes confessing feel far riskier to her than it does to us as viewers.
As for the romance, I don’t see it as a fling, but it is uneven. He’s much clearer and faster with his feelings, while she lags behind, which makes it feel one-sided for a long time and that frustration is valid.
If u look at it fl is toxic. Ml did so much fr her yet she didn't confess truth. She went on doing her things…
When the ML learned the truth and gave her a chance to confess, she didn’t, and that hurt him 🥲 She should have been honest in that moment, but from her perspective, all she could think about was getting fired. At that time, she didn’t realize he had feelings for her; she only saw him as her boss.
She only starts to understand later, when her mom tells her to look at a man’s actions, not just his words or confessions. And to be fair, he never clearly confessed to with her before the secret was revealed. Even after he told her he likes her, she still doesn't believe, she thought of him as flirting around with every women.
The way ML acts towards her is like he is picking on her as well so if I were her, wouldn't believe he likes me either. She was scared she would get fired if he knew.
Characters like this exist in real life too, people who make mistakes out of fear, not malice. That doesn’t make them undeserving of love. You don’t have to like her, but her flaws are intentional, they’re part of her growth.
