I agree. Even though Jun Seo's love started from guilt, he really loves her. He looks like he can't live without her, begs her not to leave him, promise he will make her happy, gets mad when others talk shit about her, or hurts her, would rather be in jail for her, always wants to protect her even she's wrong.
This story is more like a documentary. It shows us how will she climbed up by manipulate others and how her closet…
That's the whole point. He doesn't want her to get more famous, greedy, or use people to reach the top. He thinks he needed to ruin her reputation to stop her. Maybe there are no other ways he can think of. But I would suggest waiting for what kind of exposure before criticising him and hating on him. If you think he is evil, feel free to think so. I am well aware that he isn't innocent either.
