I get what you’re saying, but I really don’t think his betrayal would be “lame” or just because he got jealous. Their whole relationship is already super messy and full of obsession and mind games. Even though he helped her knowing exactly what she’s like, people can still reach their limit when their feelings get pushed too much. There’s way more going on between them than “jealousy”.

You can totally see it in the way she looks at him. He’s not the only obsessed one here, she’s obsessed with him too. She stares at his advertisement boards, thinks about him constantly, reads his books, and she’s the one who approached him again first. She even watches him intensely when he’s with other girls, almost like she’s possessive. And on top of that, she told him she’ll only date In-gang for one year and that’s it. I don’t see why she needs to explain it to him.
