Every villain has a sad backstory; no one is born evil. The pain she went through, constantly being abused by adults, including her own biological parents. If she were truly pure evil, she wouldn’t be the main female lead because even in her chaos, there’s still a trace of humanity left in her. I hope Jun Seo, her lover (who will soon bring her down) will make her come to her senses in the end.

Oh I see what you are talking about. I just got time to read this now. Yes she manages to cut the rope. I also thought she would help the king. However, I don’t think she knows what to do honestly. If I were her, I would be very afraid to get close to the uncle. He is a creep. She looks confused on what or how to help since she never held knife. If there’s a rock or something, she could have done hit the uncle. She looks confused thinking what she should do and then boom she saw the book Mangruk😬 she spent her whole time in the past looking for that book so she was surprised & really happy as well.
