I thought (imagined) that once they are done killing the evil uncle and his followers, they would go check on the king and all of the sudden, they vanished in that ripped piece of paper.

I know right? it would make more sense if his body stays in the history while his soul goes to the future (just like how Jiyeong's soul landed on her physical body).

I also wish there were more epsisodes as well. I also think Kdrama standard this year is 12 episodes which is why the ending does feel a little rushed.

After a long day, I finally have a moment to share what’s been on my mind about this drama! I’m giving it a solid 9.5/10 — it was so good and kept me hooked from start to finish. The only thing missing for me was a few more episodes diving into the King’s journey to the present. I really wanted to see his reaction to the modern world — the shock, the confusion, maybe even some funny moments — and how he managed to become so rich in this new era (those suits were saying $$$ 👀).

If there’s ever a Season 2, I wouldn’t be surprised if the writer brings back the evil uncle, and honestly, I’d be here for it. I'd also love to see the jester and bodyguards return. They were such loyal companions, and it would be so fun (and emotional!) to see them adjust to the modern world too.

The ending was really satisfying, but my heart would be even fuller if we had a few extra episodes or even a second season. Just sharing my thoughts.
