I like that they showed Jiyu and her friendship with Seungwon a bit more in Ep 5.
This is what they should have done first. Let the unknown characters grow and relate to viewers first. Let us know Jiyu and Chanyoung individually. Instead, they shoved us this straight couple first in the face that nobody cares about or can relate to. I think the best way they could have done this is make all 4 of them friends first. Let Heesu get over Chanyoung. And, think about Seungwon. Let their relationship grow a bit. Then, they should have started on Jiyu and Chanyoung's romance. That would have made Chanyoung way more likeable and people would actually root for him and the couple as well.
The girlies are definitely mad because the entire episode was about CY and JS's development. How dare the first…
"The directors are going for something different to not make it boring."
yet it is boring tho unless of course showing us the useless tennis scene is top tier story-telling. It's not good directing if almost all viewers have to skip scenes to find something interesting. A good show is viewers unable to skip cause every scene is packed with good storytelling. The directing is all over the place either way which makes sense since it seems to be directorial debut for someone.
Honestly, this show at the moment is kinda giving me "light on you" but with a slightly changed font.
I haven't read the manhwa for this but from the things I have heard from other people the story seems kinda dare i say bland and very common tropey for 2025? So, i don't know how big of an impact this is gonna make but hopefully there are some moments where they make some twists and turns and make people go "damn".
I don't understand why Seon Woo gets so much hate. He clearly said that at beginning Sung Ho haven't looked like…
People hate Seonwoo because Sungho likes him. Sungho treats Junseong as a friend so they turn their hate towards Seonwoo. That is the only reason people write paragraphs about him and nitpick everything about him even though Junseong himself has flaws too just like SW. But, Junseong stans are very spiteful from what I noticed. I feel most of his stans don't even like Sungho as I have seen people saying JS to date someone else just to make Sungho 'jealous' or Sungho is underserving of him or something. Sungho is just an achievement and object for most of these people at the moment.
I don't like genderswap but this is done so tastefully in a way that it doesn't make it feel homophobic. It is gay, lesbian and hetero all at once if that makes sense and shows how complex love can be
I like that this series is all about the eye acting, the gazes, the yearning. Some people might not like or understand it cause not all every little detail is put forward to them on a silver plate but I like it cause it is so real life queer. Queer relationship is exactly like this. Since not a lot of queer people are out in the open and the dating pool is so small, everything is confusing.
It's boring because there is no element of Alternative World/Multiverse after episode 2 which is what sold me…
Watch these all backfiring on Ohmnanon stans in the end. GMMTV is going to learn putting Ohmnanon in other series is not a good idea as their stans are horrible towards others and it leads to loss of profit towards GMMTV's current series by their continuous negativity and comparison. Hence, less or even no more Ohmnanon guesting or cameoing in other series.
One of the only KBLs where I could tell when they started liking each other. Most of time, I feel that part of it is confusing in some other KBLs. This series did well on that part. At least to me. This is a very comfort BL.
this bottom and top arguments have always been so boring when there are many gay couples who don't even like or are scared of penetration and just stay with oral and other stuff to put it more bluntly lol also better looking/being prettier is not equal to bottom just like how in some heterosexual couples the straight man can be more prettier than the straight woman and still be the "top", it applies to gay couples as well. Everyone's different.
This is the highest rated 2021 BL drama in china with 9.2/10 ratings on Douban at the moment. Deserved I think. They did so much in just 6 episodes that many others are unable to do even with 6+ episodes. The acting was chef's kiss. What I liked about this drama is that it was made to tell a story rather than an incentive to use as a popularity boost for the actors.
I have seen many videos of this show on chinese tiktok. It looks BL and the female lead is interested in the 3rd lead guy. It's kinda like word of honor. the way this is structured. And, this is also ending pretty fast like in a month. So, they are trying to air these as fast as possible. I don't understand what's going on but the chemistry is cute between the 2 male leads even without the subs. I feel like this is BL disguised in a friendship.
Geez, can't people even have opinions on FICTIONAL characters now? Calm down, they are FICTIONAL. Nobody is getting hurt as fictional characters don't have a heart and they certainly don't have the capacity to understand criticism. People are allowed to criticise a character. What's the point of watching a drama or a movie if it doesn't give you feelings? be it anger or frustration or happiness, literally any emotion. Maybe don't come on discussion threads or comment sections if you are that sensitive.

glad you understood that and hopefully can now understand other people too
