I don't think she does but her character was so naive, she seemed a bit dense about the SML's intentions/feelings.

ML is pretty good here. Gotta admit, the FL's character is not written well. She seemed to be unwittingly leading on the SML.

Tried watching it coz of George Hu. He is a really charming lead. ButI have to admit, I skipped a lot of eps and used ff a lot. Didn't even make it to the end.

IKR?! 😜 still liked it overall though. I like the thought of them being able to save each other.

I love that they didn't wave a magic wand and have all issues worked out... there is still a gap between the Emperor and MQC but they respected each other and are keeping distance to give each other space. The ending felt a bit abrupt though.

Agree, he did well on both. In O&O it was evident that he wasn't all that bad, more like conflicted and negatively influenced

Done with Ep 18; I felt happy seeing WXY happily married. He is doing a pretty good job. Am looking forward to him maturing as an actor.

At ep 11 and so far it's been ok. I do like how WXY is doing justice to his role even if it's the first time I've seen him as the ML. It's a relaxing drama for me, one that I can watch at leisure and enjoy.

He did well in One and Only 😃 now watching YSMD coz I like him

Love how supportive SY was when Wen Xing died and how much love and devotion ZSC showed through his eyes when SY was in a coma.

Just watched coz of Allen Ren while waiting for new episodes of FAE - he really does the awkward male lead well

I don’t usually watch dramas with sad endings but this one hurts so good. His sacrifice for the life of the young emperor and his family really broke my heart. The loyalty of his friends and generals makes me feel proud even if he was fictional. This is the first Allen Ren drama I have watched and I gotta say, he totally nailed it. Bai Lu’s Cui Shi Yi was portrayed perfectly. Her shy and innocent adoration for ZSC is clearly seen in her eyes, her actions and in her pain.

My heart didn't have to continue breaking. Happy that they established their relationship early in the series and they both seemed to honestly show the other what they feel.

I am so glad that this is now airing...

Just finished watching this and I gotta say... Xu Kai knocked this one out of the park!
