Title Ancient Love Poetry
they should have given us more baijue x shanggu FLUFF for the sheer amount of pain and suffering we went through…
I agree...they repeatedly broke my heart and it felt good 💕

Title Autumn Fairy Tale Spoiler
Watched it coz of Xu Kai even if I had a feeling I wouldn't like it as much...
Have to agree with other commenters, the cuts made me feel the plot gaps. This would have been a bit better as a series so I can be more invested in the ML and FL relationship. By the time they met again, I felt that the SML knew the FL better.

Title The Best of You in My Mind
This drama gives such a deja vu feel. Its like you have seen this same plot, same characters a million times before.…
I kinda agree, FL’s range is a bit limited. Although I love the ML here. He really resonates with me. I also watched him in When We Were Young and he was also good there (the entire main cast was actually good).

Love love love the chemistry of the leads. Also Yang Yang getting off the jeep in shades and desert fatigues 😇. Such a relaxing drama to watch

Title Crush Spoiler
For a first timer, the male lead did really well here, specially when he was still blind. Wan Peng is a more veteran actor but you can see that Evan was more than able to keep up.

Title When We Were Young
Just starting this on Viki. Immediately I get a Reply 1988 feel. Reply 1988 is my all time favorite by miles so…
I agree, it really gives that Reply vibe. The cast was awesome. I put off watching this since I thought it would be dragging but I was happy to be wrong 😊

Title Mysterious Love Spoiler
This only took me 1 night to finish watching. The story is fast paced and unique.
And the actors didn’t hold back on the kissing scenes and bed scenes… #rawr

Top: watch the uncut scenes 👍

Both leads did a great job here... ML seemed so natural, I am now curious about his other works 😃

My fave scenes are actually between Li Pa and HZQ. The father/son love was so raw. Also, SWL got really good here. His character was very complex but he still made it relatable.

The cast was spectacular. I like how SWL showed more depth in this series and SZ really killed it in this drama. His scenes with Li Pa almost always gets me teary eyed
