Xiao Ge comes back to say goodbye to Wu Xie 1 year after the events of Zhang Family Mansion. It happens in the final book of main series. But then there's next novel 'Tibetan Sea Flower' in which Wu Xie discovers Xiao Ge's past and then in 'Ten Years Later' novel, Xiao Ge returns from the Bronze Door to reunite with Wu Xie and Pang Zi! ^^
Hi, I hope some of yall can answer my questions since I just watch Ultimate Note without watch the other series.…
It's been a while since I've read the novels so I won't be able to answer in detail but I'll try my best to answer everything.
1. Not much is known about Hei Yan Jing's identity, except that he is over 100 years old and has history with the The Mystic Nine. He's one of the legendary names in grave robbing, almost on par with Zhang Qiling, that's why the Mystic Nine often hired him.
2. After putting on San Shu's mask, Wu Xie resolved the disputes happening in Wu Family and then went to rescue Xiao Ge and Pang Zi. Xiao Ge and Pang Zi were seperated after entering the wrong door. Wu Xie, still in his uncle's mask found Pang Zi injured with the Zhang family Mansion's map on his body. I don't remember the exact details but I think they followed that map and found Xiao Ge unconscious while other people from their team were dead because of poisonous gas. The Zhang family Mansion filled with coffins of Zhang family members. (Chen Wenjin and team's mission was to bring a corpse to the mansion.) While trying to escape the trio came across the a coffin brought by archeologist team. They open the coffin and mummy stored in it attacked them. After defeating it, they enter a chamber with passages and leading to river. They followed the river path and came to a cave with poisonous gas and bronze bells. Pang Zi carried out Xiao Ge but as Wu xie was getting out, he discovered Pan zi stuck in a rock crevice, couldn't be saved anymore. There, Pan Zi gave Wu Xie his last protection, he shot every bronze bell blocking Wu Xie's path and then shot himself with the same gun. Few days later, Wu Xie woke up to find them saved by Qiu DeKao.
3 &4. It's not explained in the novels what happened behind the Bronze Door or what is "the ultimate" that Xiao Ge and Chen Wenjin talked about. All that is known is that there's something behind the Bronze Door which is the end of everything. The Original Zhang (Xiao Ge's) family was the one to protect the secret behind the Bronze Door but the Zhang family weakened, so the last head of Zhang family (Xiao ge) sought the help of Mystic Nine. I think Xiao Ge leading the grave robbery in the past was a part of their deal, but after that the Mystic Nine did not keep their promise so Xiao Ge had to enter the Bronze Door for the next 10 years.
I saw your comment under Tomb of the Sea, I'll just reply to it here.
Tomb of the Sea takes place 4-5 years after Xiao Ge entered the Bronze Door. The "it" that Chen Wenjin and others were talking about was revealed to be the 10th clan, 'Wang clan' which had been trying to destroy the Mystic Nine and at the same time seek the secret of immortality. If you have seen the special episode 37, there's a place mentioned on the photo, GuTong Jing, It's the place where the phenomenon of 'Snake eyebrow copper fish' existed. The snakes there had a special ability, through their venom, they can preserve everything they see and transfer it to the brains of certain people with special skills. Some of the Wang Clan's ancestors' memories were stored in the snakes in Gutong Jing, including Wang Zang Hai's, (He was the one who reconstructed the Heavenly Palace and few other places Wu Xie ventured to. He was also the first one to discover Zhang Family's secret and their control and involvement in many historic events. He decided that he wanted everyone to be free from Zhang Family's control but he couldn't fight with them alone, so he stored his plans inside the snakes' venom hoping that his descendants will continue the fight.) The whole Mystic Nine was under the watch of Wang clan and Xiao Ge was behind the Bronze Door so Wu Xie couldn't do anything against the Wang clan. He then decided to involve someone who wasn't part of Mystic Nine, Li Cu and with his help, he was able to destroy the Wang clan. Tomb of the sea ends with some of Wang clan members surviving but the novel for this part is still incomplete. The end shown in the show is written by the screenwriter, so we don't know what exactly happened with the Wang clan. :(
Sorry for the long message but what I've written is extremely short version of everything. Hope it was able to clear some things up. Do let me know if you have any other questions!
Hey, I think you need to mark that as spoiler, just in case.Well, have you watched the episodes when both of them…
Long Que and WKX aren't blood related, he was just a really good friend of Zhen Ru Yu (WKX's Father). When WKX's father was chased by the whole martial arts world, Long Que spread a rumour that Long Yuan Pavilion could open the armory in another way, hoping that people will stop the hunting of Zhen family. He moved Long Yuan Pavilion to a remote place so that people won't find it easily, sacrificing his sect's promising future. He was the only one (apart from ZZS's master), who helped WKX's father, so WKX was really thankful to him.

Yes! We literally made fun of how fast the comments were increasing, showing how desperate we are but apparently we discussed about how BB was catching up with us and it was enough to stir us, 'Immortality-deprived larger fanbase' to action!
I was scrolling through BB comments section and I saw someone saying that BB's comments are getting deleted whereas HYX's are getting increased, which seems fishy to them. People who replied to them went further and said it has started increasing since BB started catching up HYX and HYX's fans are intimidated by BB. People who don't even know what HYX is, were trying to prove how HYX has larger fanbase and all that but the number of watchers says it all, doesn't it? HYX has 11k+ watchers whereas BB has 20k+ so how come HYX has larger fanbase? Also someone said people watch Chinese bls more than Thai ones, which is so hilarious cause I've seen so many people saying Chinese ones aren't even bls so why bother watching and HYX is costume drama, which isn't the cup of tea of most people. Most importantly, HYX hasn't even aired yet, almost everyone here has read the novel or are planning to read so how it can be compared with a drama that has aired and is literally available on YouTube for free. I've been here since the comments were around 10k but I've hardly ever commented and I bet there's many more people who are silent and come here to see if there's any update or to see people clowning. We are always in our own world, crying over Chu Wanning and Mo Ran. I never saw anyone commenting anything about competing with other drama. I'm not trying to say anything bad about them, I just found it so funny to see people don't even bother to look at the numbers or facts before trying to prove what they are saying is true. XD
I found one, it's not really clear but I think it's enough for us clowns! XDhttps://twitter.com/LuoYunxiYunxi/status/1394116543638876162?t=O5O2oJiS2LMOXJHX4o0ceQ&s=19
I was just scrolling through HYX hashtag on Twitter and found this tweet. It instantly reminded me of your above comment! :D
Sorry to say but I find your comment a bit rude. Tharn's character was shown as it was in the novel. Everything…
Yeah, everything you said is true. The events of the last few episodes of season 1 were a big turn off everyone, they didn't handle it properly and same goes with second season, they decided to show some serious issues without being serious about it. I wasn't expecting much when I read the 2nd novel, but I definitely was not expecting such a bad script. The novel version at least made some sense why they behaved that way (for the Fiat scene, I know it's totally wrong what they did, but I came across some analysis which kinda helped me to understand Type's possible thought process behind it, not at all saying it was right). The issues were actually well handled in the 2nd novel. Type was not jealous but he was tired of people trying to hit on his boyfriend, as their relationship was not public, which led him to acknowledge his relationship in public. Both of them were busy and frustrated with work, they didn't have much conversation, Type rejected Tharn's proposal 2-3 times and they had sex only once in the period of 4-5 months, which made Tharn really frustrated (Tharn had insecurities because of his past break ups, no matter what he did, he was always dumped and his relationship with Type started based on sex so he actually thought sex is the thing that will keep Type happy and if it's absent, Type will leave him) and then Tharn saw Fiat kissing Type and all the other things, Fiat actually caused much more trouble in the novel which really made everything worse so it was understandable why Tharn didn't trust Type but they didn't show Tharn's perspective at all, it didn't make any sense. I was even more angered when they showed Type shifted to Bangkok leaving his parents, (like a woman in a relationship) but in the novel, Type shifted with his parents, which really changes the whole scenario. There was a scene where the two families met and Type's father saw how caring Tharn's parents were towards his son, which made him accept and love Tharn. About Tharn's ex-boyfriend issue, his parents didn't know about it, only his brother knew, he only punched that guy once and just got over with it, which I think happens a lot when it comes to men abuse, people tend to not take it seriously, which is really disappointing. In both seasons, they had a chance to explore issues which are considered as taboos and do some revolutionary changes but no, they didn't take it seriously and added stupid filler scenes! I was expecting this when I saw the trailer so I decided to expect nothing and watch it only for MewGulf, I wasn't interested in anyone else nor the script. I wanted to see some domestic scenes which I got, so I am happy. Again, I'm being biased because I love them, but that doesn't change the fact that the show was bad. :) (Sorry, I think I talked more than you. I'll mark it as spoiler or it'll take a lot of space. XD)

I'm not sure because I haven't been to Thailand but I've heard that it's quite common thing. Some Thai celebraties have been ordained as monks (I'm sure there's more of them but I can remember only these - White Nawat, Tul Pakorn, Nadech, Tor Thanapop, Captain, God Thanit. I've also seen some family members of celebraties getting ordained.) so I guess it does happen a lot in reality.

That's such a positive and cool attitude, please keep it up! <3 The screentime was actually really good for the side couples but they didn't use it well. :( I can understand why people liked side couples more than TharnType, but for me, their scenes were the best out of all. Maybe it's because I've read the novels and they both have very special place in my heart, so I was being biased, but their acting was on point so I loved it all! :) I also liked Cir Phugan a lot. They were my favourite after Tharntype, but sadly there's no way to know more about them. :(

I wish more people have that attitude like you, I totally admire it! You're absolutely right! There were way too many characters, it was a mess. Phugan and Cir's character were not in the novel and even Leo's character had only 1-2 appearances. They could've used that time to show some real issues addressed in the novel. If it was really necessary to have those characters then they should have tried to make their scenes relevant to the plot.
