You would think Cho Hee's mother-in-law was the main lead. There's a lot of promising characters but instead screen time is dominated by the most annoying ones.
even after all that Sa Ra did, I still dislike Dandan's stepmother more haha... Were they implying Sa Ra deserved too lose her pregnancy because of her prior actions?! idk, that detail bothered me a bit, and maybe I'm overthinking it. Despite everything she did, I still would of preferred if Sa Ra and her mom could of got a bit of redemption and had a better ending.
Also Dandan's birth mother dying kind of abruptly just seemed a convenient way to end Dandan's dad's and stepmom's marriage troubles. That just seemed an easy way for the writers, or maybe just short on time idk, but was very lacking.
probably not worth analyzing the sub plots too much and take it as it is. that concludes my rambling chain of thoughts, great show, but was better before the amnesia plot line.
Well episode 20... Obviously, I'm disappointed with the lack of justice.
At least she stops that girl from entering that van and repeating a tragedy. Does this brief but significant event justify 20 hours of viewing? It's hard to say.
mm ya good article. I think I've been wired to recognize who the SL is and automatically not grow too attached to them, and why I rarely end up with SLS.
That's why I probably found Start-Up so upsetting. It's not clear at the beginning that SL is not actually ML, but in that time I've grown attached to SL. Very underhand now that I think about it.. lol
jeez. so we watch episode one. then we watch 10 more episodes of how we arrived at episode one. and then what. they're both miserable for the last 5 episodes, and then finally, it finishes with an open ending!?
The more I think about it, the more it upsets me.
At least the 2nd couple was fun to watch... or else I wouldn't of made it through this.
I don't think its fair to call FL a bad actress though. I enjoyed That Winter, The Wind Blows. The script is just awful though, how can you be anything but frustrated by the end no matter who was casted.
You're soo right! People love Ko Moon Young’s dominant, selfish, rude and annoying behaviour. They love how…
I think what your missing, is that the arrogant and abrasive personality is only superficial part of her character. It's evident early on she's deeper than that when she saves the little girl as well as steps in to help Sang Tae at the bookstore signing event. And do not to forgot its Mang Tae that came on to Moon Young first at the publishing company and it was only after that did she start to become obsessed with him. Moon young also recognized Sang Tae's talent and gave him an opportunity no one else has, even if her motivation wasn't completely altruistic. Her personality was flawed yes, but so was Mang tae's, and we wouldn't have a story without these flaws.
Also, It's fair to not like the drama but what you wrote is entirely off. You can say say you don't like FL or the drama, but don't presume to know why people like FL. You're making people out to be shallow and hypocrites just for liking the show.
I've watched lot of kdramas, and IOTNBO, was the first I've watched to portray a lead with autism. I feel like its become trendy to hate on this drama.

Edit: here's the time stamp. Episode 2 51:48
