I'm struggling getting through this one. finished ep8 so far. I'm not really rooting for the lead or anyone (and what reason was I given too?!), so its just feels kind of whatever.
I truly hated how episode 4 was handled, I mean that woman has been abused by her mother in law for years and…
Seems a common theme, imo, when it comes to MIL and DIL relations in kdramas. No matter how horrid the MIL is to the DIL, as long as the MIL realizes it a tiny bit at the end and make any small gesture to change, all is forgiven.
it's played out again and again is so many kdramas.
Although I understand why they trying to keep the real cousin a secret but I'm beginning to hate the siblings…
The real cousin may of had his reasons for being a gangster, but ultimately he did a lot of bad stuff for money. He associates and works for a murderer and human trafficker. the liver he's trying to get for his wife will certainly not come from a legal organ donation...
His story is tragic, but think of the people he's hurt. should they really welcome him with open arms?
I don't hate the romantic pairing or anything, and it was a good drama overall, but the drama failed, at least to show me, that the leads actually had true romantic feelings for each other. Because of this, I also feel their relationship won't last, so it sours the ending a bit.

Remember, Cha Yeol didn't want his cousin driving because he had been drinking.
Regardless of who the driver was, the aunt would want to cover it up because she was concerned about her brothers political campaign.
Again, I really don't think Cha Yeol was the one, I'm just saying it was left vague on purpose.
