No need to be sorry. You didn't like his character for your own reasons. I find his most of the reactions understandable and I got attached with this character quite strongly. I never thought I would get such strong reaction ever just to post my love for main lead. For me he was the best. But that's for me. I am not trying to convince anyone here.
Ok, where are the cameras? Ashton Kutcher is here somewhere? :)))Sorry, I'm not a genius, nor very smart, so I…
I am also Asian ? everybody has different reactions in different circumstances. I don't believe everything he did is right but I do understand where he comes from which makes me a little more empathetic for him. I definitely enjoyed the show. Infact may be you did as well. May be not in terms of storyline or ending but hey! Han Ji pyeong's presence itself is very delightful.
never ever talks rudely to people? he literally broke the name plate agressively at the office, hit HJP for telling…
Broke the plate- that man was insulting Dalmi. He also paid visit to police station. Also kneeled in front of that jerk. But his reaction was not unnecessary. Can be agrresive. But definitely not rude. That man was making Dalmi and her startup a joke.
Hit the Hjp- well actually they both hit each other. And I don't think it was about truth at all. Both of them were very frustrated over the fact that Dalmi doesn't like them and seeing their love competition they lunged on each other.
Talked unprofessionally to alex- WTH!! that man conned them and broke their start up.
Getting rude with HJP- I agree. He was harsh with him. Just because he thought he won't get the girl doesn't mean he has to be rude with someone. But, tbh I don't think it's irrational. Also Han Ji pyoeng literally crushed his dreams initially telling them straight that their startup is never going to succeed. Rudeness goes both ways. doesn't it?
P. S. I am not justifying his actions. I am only giving you reasons. They might not be good enough for you. I am also not saying I will do the same. I am just saying I understand where he comes from and I don't mind that.
P. P. S. Han ji pyeong also supported Samtech too and I really like second male lead. No hate to him. I just love the fact that writers didn't intend to make anyone saint or devil. Every character had their flaws whether Dosan, Dalmi or ji pyeong and I tried seeing every aspect.
I don't understand why you think he is rude. I never saw him getting rude. He listened to ji pyeong's harsh criticism in the start without saying a single word. In the starting episode he was literally mute and I hated that but I know it was because ji pyeong is this hotshot guy whereas Dosan is nothing. His confidence issues got in the way. Then ofcourse he got in sandbox and after that maybe he might have been a little harsh but tbh I don't remember a single time it was out of context. He got angry when anybody tried hurting his friends or Dalmi. Otherwise he was usually calm.
Did we see the SAME Dosan from startup? cause the dosan i know is very rude and arrogant. Also, Dosan is DEFITENITLY…
I don't know why you feel he had a stroke of luck. The entire show had examples of all the people who earned their success. I shouldn't be even pointing these out but since you think it's luck 1. He won high school math olympiad at a very small age with 9 out of 10 done based on merit. The one question he cheated he literally blamed himself for years and crumbled his confidence. 2. He won CODA with Samsan tech purely based on merit again 3. 2STO was only interested in hiring him because he was genius 4. He developed Noongil from scratch obviously with team's help but it was his idea and technology. 5. He stopped ransomware twice. 6. He is the major developer for self driving cars in their company. There can be much more. He was not a good CEO I agree, but he achieved everything on his skills not luck. Everything I said is also not his alone job but he has major contribution in them. So I don't get why anyone would say he only got lucky.

Okay may be its just me... But I can relate so much more with Dosan than Jipyeong. Not because I am genius or smart but because every second child in this world handles the pressure he was handling. Being an orphan is also hard Infact may harder but i dont have personal context for it whereas I know what that pressure feels like when you are afraid to disappoint your parents who although support you but also want you to succeed so bad.
Everybody..literally everywhere I see are people with second lead syndrome and so naturally even I thought when I started start up I might fall for him and I really liked him too. The actor is very cute (his dimples specially). The way he portrayed second lead is praise worthy but...major BUT..Dosan is now one of my most favourite characters of kdrama. This guy is literal reflection of people like you and me. This guy who is clearly super brilliant, inserts science in literally everything and hell awkward. He just read this random letter addressed to him by a person he never met and is goes to help her for no personal profit. Treats the girl with utmost respect, never EVER speaks rudely with people ( one thing I disliked about second lead) gives this girl her space. Gosh!! What doesnt he do!! From episode 1 he captured my heart. His character is the realest portrayal I have seen in Kdramas so far. This guy, being a gifted child extremely smart and intelligent falls into the pressure of family and society and loses all his confidence although no doubt his skills are commendable. Although 2nd lead was just trying to be critical to motivate them to do better, it was pretty clear that a few times his comments were too harsh (no hate to actor ofcourse! ) Dosan's little acts of love like inventing a whole new app for granny are so heart warming. And the thing I loved most about him...when ji pyeong told him in the elevator that he has right over dalmi, this guy doesn't go all..I am gonna take her back mode. He was hurt but tried contacting her once for confirmation and when she didn't pick up decided to try forgetting her (although failing miserably) I know everybody is going gaga over ji pyeong and I agree he is great. But Dosan is this sweet mix, we all can relate with ( atleast I do). Literally need a Dosan now
