Worth Watching Purely for Tian Xi Wei
I started watching this series mainly because of Tian Xi Wei. The story begins with young Lin Zhi Xia, who is so exceptionally intelligent that her classmates see her as a weirdo and don’t want to be friends with her. Then she meets Jiang Yu Bai, her first real friend. He’s also a top student, but he’s always stuck in second place, never able to beat Lin Zhi Xia. The child actress who plays young Lin Zhi Xia is incredibly cute and does a great job.The early part of the story is solid. I felt the middle high-school section dragged on a bit too long, but it was still manageable. Later on, though, it started to feel boring. They only get together in the last two episodes. Tian Xi Wei’s performance is excellent — she’s easily the highlight of the series. She portrays a genius who’s brilliant academically but socially awkward really well. Every little thing she does is adorable. Hu Yi Tian’s acting is just average; sometimes it feels a bit stiff. Their chemistry is pretty mediocre — I barely felt any spark between them. Another strong point is the warm friendship among the group of friends. The coming-of-age elements, life lessons, and the supporting cast in the friend group are all really good. Shen Fu Xuan’s storyline about trying to treat patients is nice, and the part where the FL loses for the first time and gains friends is also well done. The downside of the group pairings is that Tang Ting Ting and Duan Qi Yan feel more like close friends who confide in each other and argue rather than a romantic couple. Jin Bai Hui and Lin Ze Qiu’s relationship also doesn’t develop enough to feel like a proper romance. Shen Fu Xuan’s arc is good overall, but at times it feels a bit excessive.
Overall, This series isn’t outstanding, but it’s not bad either. Tian Xi Wei’s performance is the real highlight. The friendship among the group feels warm and comforting, and it’s nice watching them grow up together. Some of the cinematography is beautiful too. However, the plot in the later part becomes quite boring and then rushes to the end.

I Get the Hype Now This Shit Is Actually So Satisfying
Honestly, I intended to save this series for later since it's one of my favorite webtoons. However, the massive hype on social media made me worried about spoilers, so I decided to watch it now. As a big fan of the original, I think the adaptation is quite solid overall.It opens incredibly strong the villains in every episode are insanely infuriating, and seeing them get their comeuppance is deeply satisfying. Unfortunately, the intensity dips a little in the later episodes, and the finale feels somewhat underwhelming. There are some changes from the webtoon (understandable, as certain scenes might be too brutal for broadcast). My biggest complaint is the forced romance subplot for Im Han-rim it felt really unnatural and unnecessary. Still, the cast delivered strong performances, especially Kim Mu-yeol who nailed Na Hwa-jin's cool, charismatic vibe.
Overall, the cast performed well, especially Kim Mu-yeol who portrayed Na Hwa-jin with excellent cool charisma. Despite some flaws in pacing and added elements, it's still a solid and entertaining adaptation.

Great Start That Lost Its Way
I started watching this series earlier than planned because of all the hype — I was curious to see what everyone was talking about. The show started really well, super fun and genuinely funny, which made it very entertaining from the early episodes. However, this series should have ended at episode 7. The last three episodes felt completely unnecessary.The plot hooked me right from the beginning. I really enjoyed the story of Agent Kim, a man whose true background remains a mystery to everyone. He’s desperately searching for the truth behind his daughter’s disappearance, while his enemies gradually uncover more about his past. The reunion of the three former agents teaming up for missions together was extremely entertaining and full of great humor. However, the middle part of the series dragged on too much, and the last three episodes were noticeably weaker. I ended up watching them just to finish the show.
Overall, Agent Kim Reactivated started very strongly and had so much potential. Unfortunately, the later episodes couldn’t maintain the quality, which lowered my interest. Still, the three lead actors delivered solid performances that kept it fun, funny, and engaging enough for me to watch until the end.

The Most Unserious Superheroes Team You’ll Ever Watch
This is a series I was really looking forward to because it stars two of my favorite actors, and I had very high expectations. The unique plot also caught my attention—I was so curious to see how it would turn out. After finishing it, oh my god… this series truly has everything. For me, it’s the best Korean drama of 2026.The series starts off funny right from the beginning. Eun Chae-ni is such an adorable character—everything she does feels hilarious. When you add in the other two, Kang Robin and Son Gyeong-un, it’s absolutely perfect. The three of them constantly doing stupid things makes it so entertaining. Then you throw in Lee Un-jeong, who’s always trying to keep them in line, and it becomes flawless. It’s literally like 3 Minions with Gru. What makes it so much fun and different from other shows is that these characters are genuinely dumb and innocent. Their imperfections and flaws are what make it great—especially when they suddenly get supernatural powers but have no idea how to use them. I also loved the warm and touching relationship between Eun Chae-ni and her grandmother. The backstory of Un-jeong and the origin of the supernatural powers were really well done. The action scenes and CGI were excellent too.
Park Eun-bin is incredibly lovable in this. Her acting is outstanding as always—no need to even say it. She’s undeniably one of the best actresses in Korea. Cha Eun-woo looks incredibly handsome here (though he always does). His performance in this series is further proof for me that he can really act. He’s been doing well since Island and has continued to improve. At first, I wasn’t expecting much from their chemistry, but it turned out to be fantastic. Whether they’re playfully teasing each other or fighting side by side, it’s so good. Im Seong-jae and Choi Dae-hoon also delivered great and hilarious performances. Both have iconic scenes too. The villain team was well executed, and I have to say the chemistry between Cha Eun-woo and Choi Yun-ji was surprisingly good as well.
Overall, this is an excellent series that has it all. It makes you feel a whole range of emotions at the same time. Some scenes that should be sad end up being funny instead. The chemistry among the four leads is perfect—they’ll make you laugh in every single episode. This is the best Korean drama of 2026 for me. 10/10. I highly recommend it, and I’m already begging for Season 2.

The Greenest Shameless ML & Smart FL Done Right
This series was already on my watchlist because it’s exactly the kind of drama I love. Having Meng Ziyi as the female lead made it even more interesting, since she often plays revenge-type roles that suit her so well. Some people might say it’s repetitive, but I personally love her in these kinds of characters. One of my all-time favorite series of hers is Bossom, where she played the female lead, so my expectations for this one were high. After watching it, this has become one of the best series of the year for me.I love dramas where the male lead is highly skilled but hides his true abilities and pretends to be weak(though he is actually ill). The male lead in this series, Xiao Huayong, is exactly that. He’s an excellent fighter with brilliant schemes—someone great and powerful whom other capable people respect and obey. He controls everything from behind the scenes. He’s a shameless ML who’s clingy and loves the female lead deeply; every action he takes always considers her. The female lead, Shen Xihe, is intelligent, careful, and sharp. Both lead actors, Meng Ziyi and He Yu, performed excellently, and their chemistry is outstanding. The secondary couple, Bu Shulin and Cui Jinbai, felt average to me—just a bit funny. The supporting cast did a good job overall. The people around the leads—Zhen Zhu, Mo Yu, and Tian Yuan—were great and very funny whenever they were with the main couple. Among the princes, besides the Fifth Prince, the others didn’t have much screen time but still did well. The Fifth Prince was especially annoying in a good way. The scenes looked realistic and grand, the costumes were beautiful, the music was good, the palace politics were entertaining, and the story progressed well and stayed interesting every episode. The later episodes might have felt a bit rushed, and the male lead’s return wasn’t explained very clearly. Even in the special episode it wasn’t clarified—I can only guess it had something to do with the male lead’s personal physician because he aged a lot—but none of that affected the main enjoyment of the story.
Overall, this is one of the best series of the year for me. Meng Ziyi and He Yu acted wonderfully, and their chemistry is perfect. Meng Ziyi looks elegant and majestic in this role—the costumes make her look even more powerful. He Yu is handsome and cunning in this character, and he’s probably the most shameless ML ever. The supporting actors also did well. I don’t usually rewatch dramas much—I only rewatch ones I really love after a long time—but this is one I want to rewatch. As I said, if you like a highly skilled male lead who hides his true power and pretends to be weak, a smart and unyielding female lead, and a couple who love each other deeply, then you’ll like Blossoms of Power. It’s definitely worth watching.

Sweet 7 lifetime romance with almost zero drama
I decided to watch this because I didn’t know what else to watch. I’ve been watching a lot of Ding Yuxi dramas lately and finished several of them, so I picked this one up. It’s also the first Yang Chaoyue series I’ve ever watched. I’ve heard her name a lot but only just realized I’d never seen any drama where she was the female lead. The plot is really good. The structure of the seven connected lifetimes has nice parallels and small details that don’t feel repetitive. Each life is different—sometimes only one of them remembers, sometimes both do, sometimes neither does—which keeps it from getting boring and adds mystery that makes you want to keep watching.For me, the early episodes moved along enjoyably even though it felt a bit slow at times, especially the second lifetime. The first lifetime (as animals) was quite funny, and the third was fun too. Around the middle it slowed down and I felt a bit bored, but from episode 25 onward—especially the later part of the fifth lifetime and the sixth—it got really good and exciting. The second male lead in the second and third lifetimes is one of the most annoying second male leads of all time for me, even though he turns out to be a good person in the end. The main villain’s death at the end also felt a bit too easy. Ding Yuxi as Chu Kong is definitely the highlight of the show. He plays multiple lifetimes and different personalities really well. Yang Chaoyue as Xiang Yun is very cute. Her acting isn’t particularly outstanding and there are a few points you can nitpick, but it’s not bad enough to make the show unwatchable. Their chemistry is good. The relationship is sweet and adorable with some sad moments mixed in. Because the male lead is quite straightforward, there’s almost no misunderstanding drama between them.Production is beautiful—costumes, sets, and the opening OST is excellent.
Overall, This drama has a very interesting plot about seven connected lifetimes. It’s a sweet story. The pacing can drag and feel a bit boring in some parts, but the main focus is the story and relationship between the leads. If you’re looking for a couple who are in love and have almost zero misunderstanding drama, this one feels very comforting to watch. You can definitely give this a try.

A Light & Casual Watch
I’ve been catching up on Ding Yuxi’s older series lately, so I decided to check this one out. The female lead is Esther. I’ve already seen them together in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, and I personally didn’t like that story much, so I didn’t have high expectations going in. But this one was actually pretty good.The plot feels quite fresh. The theme of working in the publishing industry, with writers and editors, is interesting and inspiring. The early episodes move along in a fun and engaging way. The female lead’s character is hardworking, determined, and capable at her job—she’s not just a cute character. She has clear development. The male lead is a bit spoiled/self-centered but takes good care of the person he loves, and there are plenty of funny scenes. From the middle to the later parts, the pacing gets rather slow, with a lot of filler and unnecessary dragging. The secondary couple’s relationship develops slowly, and some of their scenes feel unnecessary. The chemistry between Esther and Ding Yuxi is good, and the secondary couple is okay too. Another plus is that I believe they used the actors’ real voices without dubbing.
Overall, strong start, but the middle to end feels stretched and a bit boring. If you’re looking for a cute series without heavy drama or much toxicity—just a light, fluffy, easy-to-watch show that you can casually follow without any major peaks—then this one is worth checking out.

Heavy on Politics but Excellent Lead Chemistry & Character Growth
At first, I thought this series would be a revenge + romance story, but let me warn you upfront it focuses much more on politics than romance. If you don’t like political intrigue and characters talking at length for many scenes, then this drama is definitely not for you.The series starts off very interestingly. It keeps you guessing who the real villain is, though honestly, you can pretty much tell that almost everyone is shady lol. The middle part is extremely intense — everyone starts scheming against each other. They act like allies but are always ready to stab each other in the back. In the latter half, the pacing and editing become quite rushed, making the story feel hurried. This drama really needed more episodes to properly develop the plot and characters. If it had more time, it would have been perfect. The female lead is a very smart character. Although there are moments where her decisions feel off or not that clever, you can clearly see her growth. The male lead has the most obvious and satisfying character development — starting from having nothing and gradually rising to become someone truly formidable. Almost all the main characters are sharp and quick-witted, matching each other’s level. The soundtrack is also really good. The chemistry between Chen Duling and Zhou Yiran is excellent and is honestly one of the biggest highlights of the show. Just them looking into each other’s eyes is enough to make you melt.
Overall, If you’re a fan of the leads, I highly recommend it. Chen Duling looks stunning in every outfit, and Zhou Yiran is incredibly handsome and charismatic. Their chemistry together is fantastic. That said, as I mentioned, this drama is heavily political rather than romantic. If you don’t enjoy political intrigue at all, you might end up disappointed. But for me, the strengths far outweigh the flaws.

There is nothing scary at all in this series
The plot of this series is quite interesting. The visuals are beautiful and grand, and the CGI is excellent. Unfortunately, they added so many extra elements that the plot became disappointing, boring, and lacking in interest, and the overall story turned into a complete mess.Many of the actors did a good job. Nam Joohyuk looks really cool in this role whenever he’s in the underworld. Roh Yoonseo is very beautiful and cute here, but her acting in this drama confuses me a little. In some scenes she performs very well, while in others she comes across as stiff, emotionless, and as if she’s just reciting lines. The underworld itself is vague and complicated — they don’t really explain much about it. What I really dislike is that almost none of the villains face any consequences for their past actions. It’s like Gu Cheon and Saeng Gang are stopping the evil spirits just to protect characters who are even worse. The only scenes I actually liked were the fight against the shaman’s guardian spirit, the ancient spirit scene, and the protagonist’s little spirit pet — that one was cute.
Overall, this series has an interesting plot, beautiful visuals, and excellent CGI. If you’re a fan of Nam Joohyuk, you can definitely watch it because he looks really cool in the underworld scenes. Roh Yoonseo is also very beautiful and cute. However, the story is messy, boring, and disappointing, with a lack of consequences for the villains. And most importantly, there is nothing scary at all in this series.
