Jisoo is an alright actress, sometimes she comes of across really well, other times really weak. I hope she can improve with time. However, she did improve as the drama went on and felt a lot more natural. Last 2 episodes were great. Seo in guk was amazing as always.
Good pass time show with solid romance and comedy, nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes it felt like it could have been more, but didn't quite hit the mark. Certain parts were lacking such as pacing, while other parts were strong. However, the last 2 episodes were great, and written quite well.
I still havent forgiven the brother, I mean he definitely could have reached out or atleast checked up on him but NOTHING. He didnt even know his brothers job and stopped caring about him. All while he acted like he was doing it for him
mid. it was a feel good drama. but they focused too much on the politics and less on the sports. a lot of plot holes, and they didn't focus on the students enough, left me unsatisfied.
I'm sorry this was disappointing.... I don't know if it s because I'm a webtoon reader or not... many characters…
Yeah I agree, I wish they had the chance to flesh out the manhwa. Nonetheless I still think it was good as a standalone show. They still had a lot of similar elements to the manhwa, like the fight with geum seong-je
It would have been nice to have 2 seasons instead of 1, and have them fully explore the manhwa
They tried to fit the whole manhwa in 8 episodes. They missed out on tons of fun and important arcs and characters. It would have been great if this was a second season and then they had a 3rd season, so we had a fully fleshed out story and characters. In that sense Season 1 was better. Better paced and just had more emotions in a sense?
I would also say in terms of the fighting scenes, S1 was better. S2 had many fantastic action scenes, but none as chilling as the ones in S1, like the first one with the curtain. I wish they had more monologue in the S2 action scenes, like the did S1 with Sieun.
In terms of acting, both seasons were amazing. Everyone really embodied their characters. If I had to pick one, I would I wish Baek-jin was more like his character. I wish he has his tattoos like the manhwa. In the manhwa, he comes across really cold, chilling, clean, and almost psychopathic. I think they actor did great, but he could have done better.
Again amazing show. IMO, would have been better if they had more episodes and had time to really flesh out the manhwa, but nonetheless great.
So you calling it mid because it didn't turn out the way you wanted? Hmmm
No, I'm calling it mid because it wasn't a good show. It was framed to be humorous and lighthearted, but there was very little humor. The plot itself has many holes. It's not horrible, but it's not fantastic either, so: mid.
pretty mid, had to drop it. The show didn't know what it wanted to be. It would be playing comedic music over really tragic scenes, leaving the viewer to wonder what they're supposed to feel.
Better than season 2! Smart to have 12 episodes, story didn't drag on. The plot was well made too, nothing really felt out of place. Action was better too!
I completed the drama but still don’t understand the appeal of Han Ul. I’ve seen how people like him and even…
I can definitely see why it can come across as that. That's something the show didn't portray as well as in the manhwa. You can understand his character a lot more in the manhwa
Real question, am I the only one who feels unsatisfied with the long-awaited fight between gaMin and Pi Han Hui?…
That's one thing they did different from the manhwa. In the manhwa this fight was a lot more grand. it had a different setting and some more characters.
They're two completely different takes. One's takes a more realistic grounded approach, and one takes a wacky fun, lets make friends approach. I get if you prefer one to another, but they're not meant to be compared. just read the manhwas lmfao

S1 - 10/10
S2 - 9/10
It's great that it portays growth not only in the kids, but in the adults as well. Pretty unique in a drama. Also romance was amazing
