Lol, yes, same here, I dread the angst. But I have come to realize that as long as the angst is bearable, makes sense and takes us deep into the story I can deal with it. Besides, to be emotionally involved in a drama makes it a great one, we laugh, cry, pull our hairs and scream at the screen. These are for me the good dramas. Like scary movies, I dread the nightmares I may have after watching them but I love a good scary movie that will make jump out of my seat.
Lol, probably means main couple scenes. That is just my guess, I have never seen that abbreviation before. Also the plot for me makes the story, I haven’t skipped a bit, the drama would be extra boring if it was only filled with scenes of the main couple. And they had plenty of screen time in the last episode. It’s only until the end that they had the politics.

Agree, yes her character is so weak, shady and fake. She is using the moral high ground excuse to justify her behavior. I could have been more lenient towards her character if she was at least smart, but she is so dumb.

Qui Min character irritates me. By her actions in episode 20 she puts everyone at risk. And her lying and getting Qin Xuan drunk, and pretending to be Qui Yan to trick him to sleep with her, is that her version of being stronger than her sister? Had she gone to the forecourt with Qui Yan she would have not met that unfortunate fate, I hated that part and was praying that someone would come and save her. But I also have to say that her stupidity has no limit. The two scheming cousins have proven to be smarter then her. And as for Madame Liu I really hope that she never becomes the main wife when Qui Yan vindicates her father, she complains about everything. Her dumb son wouldn’t have been able to do 10% of what Qui Yan did and I can’t stop myself blaming her a bit for what happened to Qui Min.
Now, I can wait for Liang Yi and Qui Yan to start playing house. And for him to tell Qin Xuan that he will risk and do anything for Qui Yan because he loves her.

I guess he wanted to have a profound story but lost it somewhere. This is what happens when you try too hard. Seriously, how can the whole crew do not realize when the script writer or writers went of the rail.
