The dad always cared for mark but just doesn’t know how to show it. It was actually because of vee’s playfulness that marks dad opens up to mark. It turns out to be a very cute relationship. Both veemark’s parents are fond of the other. Especially mark and vee’s parents and vee and marks mom. Markks dad opens up to vee a lot and they have really playful banter relationship. The book is really good the way their relationship develops so deep and vee has a really good arc with how devoted he becomes to mark. There’s a time when vee graduates and gets an internship closer to mark’s parents house and he goes over all the time to mark’s house to meet the parents even though mark’s not around. Also when ever they fight its the parents that sit them down and advice them to talk to eachother instead of fighting or ignoring eo. I dont know how many of you think chahub is a good actor but its a no for me. His emotional scenes are not convincing at all. He makes it look like the character is trying to force tears out like amber heard of something.
Also this shouldve been the first episode. Idk why they wasted this show with all the first 7 episodes that was nothing but product placement.
The show finally moved a bit but unfortunately i already started hating the characters for the past 7 weeks so it didn’t really click with me even though this episode was so much better than the rest.
Also the whole time i thought tee and dao were together but why was he proposing again lol and after all that boyfriends stuff they did (like the cringe office romance and staying over eo houses and drying eachothers hair) dao said no? Like its good that he finally put a stop but that came out of nowhere with no build up. Also that was one hell of an awkward asking out. Why does he have people standing around watching him confess. Shouldn’t it be more private. Especially when a guy you know likes the same person you are confessing to is right there. Also lmaoo isnt he embarrassed to do it like that. Idk i skipped enough to skip out on what the reason behind everyone being present there is but i really dont care.
Also finally when dao opens up, nine goes “i am a bad person, you need to talk to teee” when the past 6 weeks he was throwing himself at dao at any given chance. The gentleman jumped out of nowhere. And then they kiss and make up whatever i couldnt care less. But “we should go back to being brotherly.” *goes in for a kiss* *dao kisses him back* like wtf.
