This drama is seriously good so far. And watching Kingdom and Imitation at the same time makes me want to stan…
Judging that you stan Straykids, I'm sure you'll love Ateez a lot. Both groups are slightly similar and the fans since 2019 have joked around saying, both fandoms 'staytinys' are married lol. I suggest maybe watching these videos: (strayteez interactions) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRioUQqVWXc and (ateez mama 2019) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R6tRuVFVrQ
Also, sorry I don't know much about sf9. I'm getting into them cause of kingdom too
Looking pass what the views say, this drama is a solid 8/10. Personally I probably give it a 8.5 or a 9. I like…
The Eunjo scandal thing was early just like in the webtoon. They are following the webtoon story (slightly). Though just like you said, it could to early to be revealing it...
Huh?? It's not really a bad idea though. In Korea people can watch re-runs of the episodes on tv or Korean streaming…
Umm.... when did I say that I didn't care??
Also, you never asked anyone but that's why the reply button is there. LOL Anyone can comment on your opinion, it's the internet. I can tell you are sensitive and annoyed that I disagreed with you.
In the 1st episode, Maha's manager took Maha to the filming site and a little mins after, he gets a phone call…
I totally agree! The manager is immature and doesn't seem to care about Maha's feelings. If someone left me alone at night-time in an unfamiliar place without my phone and things, I would feel so angry lol.
Maybe that's just how the screen writer and director wanted to make that character as. But I really hope he shows up in later episodes to explain himself.
so he called Maha copycat because in the past they were close but i am curious why they felt far away like Maha…
The only thing I can think of is that she is intimated by him. KwonRyoc is no more that trainee that she met 7 years ago. He is now established and part of the most popular boy group, while Maha is newly debuting. Due to her senior's strong presence, maybe she didn't want to engage with conservations with him. That walking/coat scene in the beginning of episode 2 was a great way for them to break the ice, connect and slowly build their friendship back up again.
Know that, this is just my opinion. There could be a better explanation later on in the drama.
Its not???? I dont see what you mean by stays true to the original webtoon. The first meeting between maha, ryok…
-Oh... so what I said annoyed you? So that's why you are finding little things to nitpick me for? LOL. This is the internet. You put your opinion out there and I simply commented a different approach (while still acknowledging your opinion). No one said you should not talk about anything. There are just people who will agree with your comment and people (like me) who will respectfully disagree. Period.
-I thought we already finished the talk about Eunjo?? Like I said, Eunjo's scandal is vaguely explained in the webtoon while in the drama, there's still not enough information. Like I said in my 1st ever reply, You talking Eunjo didn't affect anything. First you claim I haven't read the webtoon, then you claim that I am not allowing you freedom of speech. Wow.. I've seen it all on mydramalist today....
Its not???? I dont see what you mean by stays true to the original webtoon. The first meeting between maha, ryok…
1. I never once said that you shouldn't talk about the drama and webtoon similarities. Also I never said that you aren't allowed to talk about it. So....
2. I already argued, that for the most part the drama stays true to the webtoon because of the characters personalities. If you don't agree, then a simple "I don't agree" will be good. Also... know that I even acknowledged with you in the first half of my paragraph that "of course there are differences from the drama and the webtoon". So who said you were wrong??
3. Um I read the webtoon like 3 times, both volumes, both in english and korean LOL. I even made a discussion link for people to find translated versions, cause I like the webtoon that much. Scroll up and you'll see it. Anyways... like I said earlier, Eunjo's scandal is vaguely explained in the webtoon. And I'm happy that you are aware that the drama hasn't fully explained Eunjo's scandal. Know that I never once compared the whole Annie thing to the webtoon... so Idk why you're bringing that up.
Its not???? I dont see what you mean by stays true to the original webtoon. The first meeting between maha, ryok…
well.. you are only talking about the way it's edited and they shifted the storyline. I mean duh... of course there are differences from the drama and the webtoon. And also, that's not a bad thing if there is differences. But for the most part, the characters still have the same exact personalities!! The drama character profiles and the webtoon character profiles are pretty similar and that's a definite thing that stays true to the webtoon.
p.s. Eunjo's scandal was never really explained in the webtoon. And the drama still hasn't fully explained Eunjo's scandal either. We are just left to make our own assumptions with the information that's given to us. So that part of your reply doesn't add anything.
Huh?? It's not really a bad idea though. In Korea people can watch re-runs of the episodes on tv or Korean streaming sites. Also, there are refresher clips and episodes teasers to refresh our memories of the episodes. Lastly, LOTSSS of dramas do this and see great results.
does anyone know, ma ha's manager left her alone at the film set, at the end of episode 1? I really don't understand…
In the 1st episode, Maha's manager took Maha to the filming site and a little mins after, he gets a phone call from Omega 3 CEO. The CEO is angry and wants to see the manager asap! This part is the only part that they didn't make clear..... Anyways, at the end of Maha filming the drama, they show a scene of the Manager saying "Sorry Maha" and driving away with Maha's stuff. This definitely means that the Manager is running away or has quit.
In the 2nd episode, did you notice that Maha's old manager is not there at all. This definitely proves that he quit being Maha's and Omega 3 manager. Now Maha is signed with Jihak's company to become TEAPARTY.
The first ep was fine and interesting (although the editing is all over the place) but i found the second ep a…
I actually liked the childhood connection thing. Although it wasn't in the webtoon, it still makes sense to the story. Also, Maha and KwonRyoc actually have shared a common experience together.
Here we go again, till when we have to bear poor SML and cunning SFL, why, like why? Don't they have better story,…
1. You have never read the webtoon at all. 2. You based all your conclusions on 2 episodes alone.
Anyways.... I'm just here to tell you that based on the webtoon, La Lima ends up liking Maha and distances herself from KwonRyoc. It's not the common ML-FL-SML-SFL circle that you think it is. Also, this storyline is actually perfect for the genre. At least, wait a few more episodes or actually read the webtoon before making your conclusions.
Okey it may be your favourite idol/actor there, but you really can't review a whole drama with just one episode.
umm.... It's not a bad thing though. The more interesting and insight reviews, the better. Also it really doesn't matter if they review for their favourite actors. It just means they are genuinely happy for their acting success. Stop nitpicking on them writing 23 reviews.
A basic definition of a review is to just evaluate the production and performance of a show. There's no rules on writing a review during the show airs or after it airs.
The ratings are too low... Maybe I'll watch after it finishes airing (7.3 on MDL rn)Edit: I didn't know there…
Umm.... Why are you letting the fake ratings fool you?? Like everyone has been saying in the comment section, the ratings are low because of spam voters. Also, we are literally only 2 episodes in. Please check the full proper ratings (9.34 for people watching).
