Lol. I feel like the narator of this drama is hongran. She always the one that make the plot moving.Jokes aside,…
Honestly right now it feels like her character's purpose is only to pass information between people to get the plot moving faster. Her romance (if we can call it that) is only added as a afterthought and sprinkled there in between.
How can a lesser/territorial mountain spirit who couldn't prevent his lover from marrying someone, couldn't protect…
I think it kinda makes sense. He realised he is in love with her only after she had to run away to hide, so it makes sense that he didn't stop her marriage. And he didn't save her because he was busy fighting to protect her and he didn't exactly know where she was. Basically we can take it to mean that is powerful but not omnipresent.
Also I don't think he changed the FL's behaviour, the awkward way the FL is behaving makes sense. As she mentioned later in the episode her heart and brain are giving her different signals. Her brain tells her she likes the 2ML but she doesn't feel the flutters anymore and there is an emptiness left due to being separated by ML.
Also yes I think 2ML just collectively erased the memory of everyone who knew about the relationship, but somehow the girl wasn't affected, there might be something there.
This episode was really really good. I literally felt the pain of every character and even bawled my eyes out. But…
Same. When the Du Shik finishes the whole bridge part of his story I was relieved that there was no Hye Jin there, but then they ruined it with the epilogue.
I think I understand what GO is going through. Can't say I agree with him, but I get it. SH just died and so now his emotions are all over the place. Seeing YH give an electric chair execution would bring back all the morals which he has been fighting against, because it has become evident moral high-ground will not let one win here, he can only think of SH disapproval. Then with the professor he trusted instigating him and all the planted evidences, specially them pointing to YH being responsible for SH death, it makes sense for him to lash out. But I have to say if he had thought a bit more rationally, maybe he would have found the evidences fishy or at least gave it more thought. But I guess we can also argue that SH death made him irrational right now, which was also SA's motive.
The episodes keep getting better. They aren't very dramatic but still so engaging. I don't even realise that the 1hr has completed. And with each episode I like the characters even more. The best part about this is all the 4 main leads, even the supporting cast for that matter, none of them behave how you would expect characters in a kdrama to behave. Its is so refreshing and doesn't seem forced. Even with so many great shows airing right now, I somehow am looking forward to this show the most.
Kim Hee Jung (Soo's Mom) also plays a mom in Start up and in Tail of the nine tailed. Sometimes for a sec I go like 'what happened to her character, why is she behaving so diffently', because I end up getting confused between the type of mom she is playing in the 3 shows. ?
In reviewing the comments. I have come to understand that people see things differently. I personally don't see…
Thank you so much! I seriously can't express the relief of seeing this comment and to all the replies it got. I didn't get the hate. I don't see how he has been leading her on. He has been in the US the entire time , with little to no contact (specially considering that she doesn't even seem to have his correct number). Even the one time he came to Seoul, I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to hang out with friends. Both the time the FL confessed it was based on her assumptions and expectation. I mean I get that we are seeing most of the story from the FL's POV but people might want to consider his POV too. For him she has always been a friend. Only now he seems to be realising that she means more. Actually if you think about it, usually its always the SFL that sees her friendship with the ML as something more and when he rejects her, its completely justified. But if the same happens to the FL then the guy's a jerk.
