Why are people complaining about the ending is beyond me!! I think it was perfect! I have watched a lot of BL…
Given the time frame, the situation, the ending makes perfect sense. Maybe they just don’t understand what Karl and Vlad is going through.

Dont get me wrong .... I loved this series! The only thing I wished they would have done different is maybe explained…
To understand the time lapse, you need to understand the academic calendar of the Uni. So for the time progression, the academic calendar of Karl and Vlad’s University (which I think is UP Diliman) is 2 semesters, and 1 summer term.

1st term: August-December (usually ends Dec 16-20)
2nd term: January-May (usually starts at Monday of the 2nd week of January)
Summer term: June-July

Vlad and Karl meet in between the 1st and 2nd term, so technically they just know each other for less than a month. With that small timeframe, forcing Karl to come out for the sake a happy ending would be just lazy writing, and would be a disservice to authentic LGBTQIA+ experience.

can someone explain the ending for me ?
Basically, it’s an open ending. It let the audience think of their version of the character’s ending. It also opens the possibility for a new season.

Yeah, because that was just a prequel. Try to read the novel on wattpad.
It’s not a novel actually. It is the 3 episodes of the original screenplay of GSP :)
