Mango announced their dramas for 2022. OOL is not on the list. So either they sold the rights (which is possible, but kind of like shooting themselves in the leg, unless they were forced to do it) or it will air in 2021.
When he hit us with that “and my lover” i was so shocked, slightly uncomfy bcs i rlly saw their relationship…
From what I understand it's the translation problem. The word he uses can be used as lover, but it can also mean beloved person or something similar in a familial way.
It's not just him. It is the same for every actor who's listed by their English name. Try searching Yang Zi and…
Yeah, I'm with you there. Most of them don't even use those names, not like Jackson Wang, for example (who is actually known more by his English name). It's just weird, I didn't even know YZ had that name, thought someone made a mistake. I guess the search engine here, just doesn't check the page, only the main name.
Guys, help please. When I search for "Xiao Zhan" here I used to get Sean Xiao as a suggestion right away, in first…

In the description it does mention romance, but if I had to guess (from the trailer and the order of the leads),…
I'd say AMA is 50/50 romance and political plots. I didn't finish it, but more for my own personal preferences, it was pretty interesting actually. And if it's any help, romace there is not like in modern dramas, more of a slow burn, while characters deal with political plots and civil unrest in the country.
Objectively (As in, regardless of what he does, right or wrong, etc), when stars in C-Ent have had horrible scandals…
I think the comparison to XZ is not exactly fitting here. XZ was never banned and more importantly his situation wasn't political. So for XZ it was just waiting for the public opinion to die down and he was actually supported by the government in his return (Heroes in harm's way). Whereas ZZH, unfortunately, is banned by the government, which from my understanding, is basically a career suicide in China.

I actually thought that the severity of his punishment might have to do with his management, I mean with the speed of her ban, she Vicky Zhao was probably on the black list long before it became official. And if it's true, then it's political and that means it's even more unlikely that he'll be able to come back. Poor guy really got the worst of luck having this brought up to the public at the worst possible moment, e.g. entertainment clean up.
In the description it does mention romance, but if I had to guess (from the trailer and the order of the leads), it's likely more of a background thing to go along with friendship, military and patriotic themes. It seem like it would be more brothers in arms, rather than the love triangle like Arsenal Military Academy
I am a wetv.vip subscriber. I have been watching and re-watching "You are my glory" and today I tried to rewatch…
Not just US, for me the same thing happened. At first I though it was just some weird bug, but it's been 2 days, still not available. Which is funny, because it's perfectly available to me on qq
This is unfortunate. I got to know him through his Legend of Yunxi days and have followed him a bit since then.…
The thing is, that incident shows that he does not, in fact, has a good head on his shoulders. It is really disappointing, because before I had a really good impression of him. But him not just visiting those places, but posting pictures on his social media and not removing them even after he got famous is... the height of stupidity, IMO. I do pity him, and hope he can recover from this. What he really needs is a better management, because obviously the current one has no idea how to do their job and he himself is not capable of managing his image.
I am half way through and so far, really like this one. I feel that people who call FL stupid are a little confused about what that word actually means. As in being naive does not equal stupid, it just means inexperience. Yes, she is very naive and trusting, but if you give the story time to unfold, you will see that maybe this world needs more people like her, e.g. kind and willing to help, instead of jumping to conclusions and turning people away. Yes, her naivete is overexaggerated for the plot, but she is in no way annoying and the more you get to know her, the more you see her strengths and that ML actually has a lot to learn from her too. Their relationship has a healthy balance, where while he is protective and takes care of her in some ways, there are other ways in which she takes care of and helps him.
Let's wait for official announcement on May 14th, after that we can be sure who is the main lead and the second…
It looks like a story that will be more focused on the part about patriotism and "exposing the falsification training methods" (that's in the description), so they might also both be leads. It's not like there has to be only one LOL
I like the new teaser, but that part where he's staring at the camera, smiling and winking is kind of creepy... I hope it's not a part of the drama, just the promo shot.
Hm, I'd say, if they are really airing it soon, June is more likely. Long ballad still has three weeks to go for free users. Unless it will be just Hunan first and then web after...
hey guys me again lol, so i’ve been thinking a lot about shuyu’s character after reading some previous discussions,…
For me personally, Wei Shuyu's main character flaw is not that he makes those sometimes bad decisions, it's that he does not stand by them, he lacks conviction. So he decided to work for the new Emperor to protect his family. Good, I can understand and even respect that. But then along comes Chang Ge and tells him what a disappointment he is and he just deflates and starts to doubt himself. But then comes Hao Du telling him that he's useless and there we go again. I'm not saying people can't change their mind, but with him there's just constant back and forth of "who was the most convincing today".
I think you are spot on with the "kindhearted uncle who is taken advantaged of" and agree that there is a big possibility that he will be made into a sacrificial lamb, characters like him often do.
