I feel like there's a point after wich you just can't call someone good or even gray person, and boiling someone alive definitely is that point. Whatever her reason is, that's just a step too far in the direction of being inhumane.

I just wanted to say, I like that A-Chou is not the typical poor naive girl, it's so weird when dramas make someone who has been kicked and wronged their whole life to be nice and angelic.
And boy, am I glad they didn't make ML naive instead, either. A lot of the drama I've seen with the whole smart FL and women empowerment thing, ML often ends up dumb. But here she's smart and ruthless, but he also sees through her and can mutch her in forward thinking.

I don't think it was "a big reveal". To me it looked like he pretty much guessed for a while now, but had no way to prove it. So as a lesser of two evils (Jundai being the biggest evil in his eyes) he decided to drop it, since Wei Rao seemed like a sensible enough girl, that took his family welfare seriously and because he seems to have started falling for her.

She literally doesn't trust anyone. And if gradma Wei at last gets something out of helping her: protecting her family from execution is a pretty good motivation. Lu Zhao's motivation is not material, especially since he refused to sleep with her. So for her, who's used to people only doing something for material gain, it's not plausible. She doesn't want to owe him

So judging by how everything went, Lu Zhuo pretty much guessed about the switch for some time now. That's probably why he switched to protecting Wei Rao without a problem, he realized she was not the one who pushed the girl off the cliff. I'm gonna be childish and say, I knew he would rather be married to someone with low bith, than Jundai the psycho. I said so, he hates her so much. Of course him only seeing FL after she has been cleaned up and acting like a lady, helps a lot.

Lu Zhuo is already infatuated, there's no need for this guy. FL is the one who's indifferent

Seriously Qi what's his name is extremely annoying at this point. The audacity of him just coming and going into the Lu house like it's his own and even telling Lu Zhuo that Wei Rao is not his real wife

To be fair grandma's offer was pretty reasonable. If they hadn't alienated her from the start, she probably would have agreed, since she doesn't really care about Lu Zhuo at this point. Out of everyone in these two families, so far grandmas are the best

I think you missed my point. What I meant here was that she didn't know that the girl that came to the palace was not Wei Rao until her servant returned from her mother's home and told her about the switch. Viniverse assumed that she guessed while talking to her and there's no indication of that in the drama

From what I understood, A-Chou/Wei Rao is Zhao Fu's actual daughter and Jundai is her sisters child. They supposedly switched them at birth and think that they killed the real Wei Rao, but somehow (probably someone just couldn't bring themselves to kill a child) she wasn't killed and I guess given to that family she grew up with

No, it was literally shown how upset she was that "her daughter" is leaving. And then there was a scene of the maid coming to report "something very important". There was no part where they show she had any suspicion
