The synopsis kinda went over my head. Can anyone explain me the plot of manhwa. Im okay with spoilers. I Just came here watching the preview of making of the drama. The aesthetics looked ecstatic.
Well at least it has more romantic moments than Reset 😂
Dont know why but I still liked reset more with a very subtle romance in it & the last confession scene was simple yet beautiful. Also reset had like only 10-12 ep thats why it didnt bore me. But this one has like 30 💀
I think this drama is good but not super good. You can tell the ML & FL chemistry would've been hit if the writing & execution was better. However whats with this poster. It looks like phone edit with picsart free font. They should've done better 😭
Ryu shi o stole the show for me. The real mvp. No its not about his handsome face. He was the most intriguing & interesting to watch. I was only curious to see his ending. Everyone & everything else was boring because of boring & lazy character descriptions. The writer sucked.
They Didn't have to play that romantic songs in namsoon shi oh phone call to make us feel like they are messed up ex with super bad breakup & their only job is to get on each other's nerve while being hurt inside. Like i swear at this rate writer is playing with their emotion. Also in preview it looks like shi oh will K word himself. Godd. This drama should have been actually namsoon & shi oh fighting each other for every ep & i would've ate it up.
Its like writer was having different ideas while writing & they tried to give a scenepick of each ideas into one drama. But at the end it turned out messy, unfinished crap Writing. I already said I dont feel the chemistry btwn leads I felt for s1. The writer could've focused on developing a sizzling chemistry btwn ML & FL like they did for min min & bong bong but instead they tried to shove all those romance of boomers & not to mention her mom 💀. Its like writer was himself confused about the female lead. However suddenly the decided to shove villain falling for cute girl who is somehow strong & eventually betraying him. Interesting maybe the writer was having ideas about enemies to lovers but he suddenly remembered this aint the dark romance he was aiming for. Of course now ryu shi oh will now turn into monster after the betrayal when clearly he needed psychratic help instead of toying his feelings & doing emotional manipulation because clearly thats gonna distort his brain more as he has been always abandoned by people from childhood. Also the writer did the male lead dirty 💀. They barely gave the guy any backstory or anything to help us connect with him more. Its like he was treated like a side character. This is just a result of confused writing.
At least its clear that Ryu shi oh didnt know she is namsoon beforehand & using her only for power like people were assuming. He fell in love for real. the betrayal is hurting him.
Today I got 100% confirmation i feel nothing for Main leads chemistry. The kiss scene made me feel nothing. But thats not their fault. Its the lack of screentime & bulid up. Lack of spark bcoz of poor direction. It looks like the director himself just want to finish their scene quickly to shove her mom n grandma right on our face that nobody wanted. No i dont want her to end up with Ryu shi oh bcoz thats pretty messy & its near impossible. But damn I also cant deny their fire buring chemistry Everytime they on scene. Nah its not just about the byeon wooseok's visual anymore. Its more than that. Like in last ep shi oh just caught falling Namsoon then give a kiackass dialogue delivery. The sudden change of expression of shi oh with soft tone. The dialogues they have given to shi oh are actually fire. Today he said "when it comes to love or friendship, I'm still new to both. those werent options for me in the life I've led. but when I'm with you, friendship and love pique my interest". one moment he being the devil of devil & next moment him giggling for that one & only person. On top of that his sad vicious past. Interesting character. Multidimensional, Interesting Unhinged character. I am excited to see how his ending will turn out.
I think the director & script writer lowkey wasted the cast & the plot with their poor direction & scriptwriting. Im pretty sure this drama would have been more engaging & exciting with a better direction. I am in dilemma. There are some scenes btwn leads i really like. One minute i feel like im finally into this drama & the next time they ruin it shoving a weird script & direction. The phone calls ughh.
I actually liked some 1st epis of this drama a lot. But the more I continue, the more it became less exciting for me. In my perspective Bailu is a queen of chemistry. But here I do feel she & Dylan has a lil bit lesss chemistry than she had wwith other actors. I feel like this drama could have been fantastic if it would have been a 24 epis drama instead of 36. It looks like the writers made the plot too slow just to cover up 36 ep. RS & GJ not my cup of tea. I dont like them or their scenes. However the visuals are top notch. I Like shi yue as the epis goes..
Watched first 5 ep. Its a mid for me. The chemistry between ML & FL isnt bad but not upto the mark that i will be too much immersed in it like i did for 1st season. However the drama still aint that bad but needed more Polishing i guess? Byeon wooseok is too handsome for that sloppy villain character. He kind of deserved better i guess? Overall i think this drama wanted to make it look comic like element. Lets see how the flow of the story goes in future.
Qi shuo aka Liu Yi Tong is the MVP of this drama. Throughout the whole show he made me more invested into his character. The Title also made sense when you understand his character.

It delivered the kiss scene more intensely with that bgm
