omg I LOVED search www for it's kickass female characters. I was shocked to find out the screenwriter for that drama previously worked under kim eun sook lol. There are plenty of better female characters in kdramas than SDM. Anyone who tries to convince me otherwise is probably a fan of the actress rather than the character.
And you're right, she said she's "become more careful in the past 3 years" and that went flying out the window with a not-so-convincing speech from the love of her life -_-
Alright it's finally time to suffer through the last 2 eps for the sake of closure. I've invested more time watching this drama than I should have just because of HJP -_-

Some of these theories are VERY convincing but I refuse to let myself believe in that 1% and be fooled in the final week. I still think jidal are unlikely to be endgame and tbh I think he deserves a strong woman who has a more realistic approach to life. Maybe there was a potential to see something between him and WIJ but they barely spoke to each other in all of 14 eps lol.
The writer really thought making HJP a petty person over a girl (who he knows doesn’t like him romantically) after12 eps of giving him the strongest characterisation is the way to go.....disappointed but far from surprised.

Regardless of who SDM ends up with and whether HJP gets his happy ending or not, the writing has been too messy over the past 12 eps so 10/10 rating is out of question from me. Even if they try to fix things in the final 4 episodes.
We’re 12 episodes in and I’m still finding it difficult to like NDS despite the writer trying to convince us with his back story. The more I watch, the more I feel the writer hates literally every decent character in this show lol. It’s a shame Won In Jae barely gets any screen time and is only there as her sister’s rival. She is one of the few strong characters and there was so much more the writer could have done with the plot to show how she beats her stepdad and step-brother with her own company. The first 4 episodes were so good but as soon as they started forcing the love triangle on us I lost interest. I only watch this for the business related plot and Kim Seon Ho now. Tbh I don’t care who SDM ends up with anymore (it’s obv it’ll be NDS) but I really hope HJP gets the happy ending he deserves.
