I feel they main purpose for him getting into the historical character was to bring in humour but honestly I didnt really enjoy it. Just finished the show love the chemistry between the main leads side characters were good too but I think out of all the side characters the guy who's 1st in studies has the a very interesting and humorous character and his friendship with yu bai and later with the fl was so cute but I felt the pattern of each issue seemed the same. to solve each they first had to over come a big issue then a small issue then finally gets solved. eg: to participate in the sports thing big issue; convince the Professor lady small issue: convince the classmates then they won. Even with the FL going to class 2 big issue: her actually getting the grades small issue: her getting the grades but cant go then later gets solved it sounds silly when I type it out but while watching it felt like knew what was going to happen. I think what made the show good was the characters rather than the story. I wish instead we got to see the MLs date in college rather than directly Married in the very end
If I had to to rate this drama I'd say in my opinion maybe an 8/10 or a 7.8 to be precise haha.
It is a good drama but there were somethings that could have been better. 1. Daeil didnt have to die. I guess they did this so that they'd be more motivated to to catch the culprit and make sure they were the ones who did it. Nevertheless I still feel he didnt have to die maybe just injured 2. the villan - I think he could have had a stronger character because his character kind of feels a little brief 3. (most imp one) Just the friendship and bonding - If you think about it yes, Kim take and wi Seung do have a really nice friendship and we do see a little bonding between Daeil, Beom and joo young but thats really about it. we dont really see the FL have a strong friendship I mean yes she cares for her friends but as a righteous character she cares for any innocent person. tbh I think in terms of quality, production K-Drama>C-drama (dont get me wrong I love my Chinese dramas and always have to watch a Chinese Drama after a Korean because i feel its lighter) Chinese drama make really good school dramas where similarly there are a couple characters but they friendship and bonding they show is really beautiful.
I get that they couldn't sent the evidence or copy it but they could have just taken a video from their phone. Also I agree the villains acting wasn't so satisfying maybe because I keep comparing him to babel guy from Vincenzo Ok Taec Yeon did a fabulous job
