So trueee I had switched to YouTube because the sequencing made better sense but subtitles aren’t the best especially when they play games, and I mainly like the part they play games😭

It’s not that I like the sml I was just curious what’s up with him, over expecting from the fl at the same time not saying a word to her

The messy friendship, sml , fl’s father: basically found all the messy characters more interesting than the romance & honestly think these parts of the plot were good.

I didn’t like this show unlike like most ppl:(( personally don’t think that the overall plot or the chemistry was that good. Parts of the plot that made me want to finish were:

Yeah I was tried watching all the 1hr+ episodes on kisskh but one of the episodes felt like wasn’t continued. But thanks anyways I’ll try watching it anyways

Not really, a female lead I truly love and appreciate - qiao man from prisoner of beauty, she wasn't a solider on the battlefield but still played an equally imp role :)

where are you guys watching the show because on KISSKH I think the order of episodes are not right?

Trueee, maybe because I didn't really go in expecting for either I enjoyed it hahaha

* I think Pei Yi was overly sympathetic to some of the criminals and I happen to notice the trend that they're all females. for eg: Pei Yu, yes its unfair that females faced inequality, yes bullying is wrong but so is murder, esp her master: doesn't he deserve justice? I understand that the guy murdered all these ppl and it wasn't pei yu but she was an accomplice, even if she was excused because she saved many ppl why did they allow to take the guys ashes back for proper burial.
* I wasn't expecting Pei Yi and HuiJin to leave, through the show I dont think they showed that Pei Yi wanted to the leave the palace so I thought it was quite unexpected but after reading some of the comments, I realized that there's post credit scene while I dont believe that there'll be season 2 it explains or suggests that the leads might go back to the palace to investigate
* not a con but I thought the mini snow fight scene at the end was cringey and didn't really fit the character

I quite enjoyed watching it! Kinda sad to see many ppl not liking the show, I guess it depends on what type of shows you like? two of my fav actorssss, and while the romance was subtle the chemistry was def thereee, I loved seeing Huai Jin's reactions/expressions towards Pei Yi. I will say this is not the best suspense/revenge drama but I wasn't expecting it to be given that the plot is about several different cases and then talking about Pei Yi's. Only a few things I didn't like

the plot is ALL OVER THE PlACE.i know dramas like these tend to have more plot hole which I always overlook, but this show has a diff story every 4 ep. Just as I start to get used tot he plot it changes.

guys help! I want to watch purely for the romance, does it get sad from a certain episode or does the timeline go back and forth so there's sad and cute romance scenes throughout?
