I only want to watch purely for the romance, not sure how I can do that. I love both the main leads

This was my most anticipated drama for this year, of course because of the casting but the trailer left me dying wanting for more. The initial teaser made me think it was going to be mysterious and revenge filled it wasn’t. Yes, it did have elements of it but the revenge plot wore off fairly quickly however I did still enjoy the story. Great leads and side characters I will have to say somewhere in between I felt like I was seeing more of situ and the fox fairy more than I wanted to but on an overall a good watch. The casting (both main and side) made it a great watch

I absolutely LOVED the first 2/3 then lowkey started getting lost. Still good but a little lost

yes 100% because wdym the 2FL turns good, so does Lin Jia dong but the ex turns bad, yes he wasn't a goos bf but didnt have to make him psycho

Oh no no, he knew she was a girl earlier on , I meant that in ep 30 it’s not a secret anymore because they tell the king . Do watch it there is sufficient romance and cute scenes haha

Good show ending episode were unnecessary though, 8/10 (8.5/10 considering the casting)

Finally when it’s out in the open that FL is a woman why was there so much focus on the romance aspect. Like whether the ML love the fl or not how does that decide if the fl , a woman can serve for the country. For a drama that had been trying to highlight that women can venture out if they want to ep 30 felt a little contradicting

Good watch. In the beginning the main leafs kept the show entertaining but the second half the side character kept the show going.

I did feel that the ML forgave his mother quickly but 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'd say period dramas is a recent obsession which im still picky about-right amount of political but not too political, romance and comedy so watching the trailer got mr excited. Esp when I saw the ML & FL cast. While the story is in no way bad, for some reason I'm fully not engaged at the same time, thought ill get better as I watch but im in ep 17 rn. I cant completely pinpoint the issue because there are some comedy

I did download it to watch it on the flight but didn’t get to it haha. I lowkey might just start with dream within a dream because I don’t think I’ll be able to binge watch for a bit. But all eps come jul 15 so still considering
