its a cute historical character, all cute historicals mostly have fls with bangs. thats like a staple to a rom-com drama but in her other drama "lie to love" shje does not have this bangs and she looks very mature, and has a different aura

she has really been doing so well on emotional scenes on this drama, she has come a long way if you compare the emotional scenes of her first drama legend of awakening(2020)

there's many scenes where there's not much words being said but the scene is emotionally heavy, both are acting through their facial expressions, eyes, and tears

the kiss in episode 13 was so well done, the acting, the angle, how it started and how it ended

they didn't need to say a word to eachother, just communicating through their eyes

both cheng xiao and luo yunxi nails the "longing" emotion

i just want watch more and more episodes as soon as possible

this drama is also quite emotional, cheng xiao is good at acting emotional crying scenes, and luo yunxi has always been good too

finished episode 12, still fast-paced wow they really kept it up.. this drama has more suspense thriller moments than an actual suspense thriller drama hhaha

its so funny how they have so high standards for idol-actor cheng xiao, the improvements are quite obvious and jealous haters would still not accept that

one thing to point out, cheng xiao does not accept the same roles, all her drama roles are so differnt from each other, and the fact that shes still improving despite having new role to play each time means that she really studies and works hard, hats off to her
