I watch both Eng sub and Viet sub.
Yeah, I watch the raws too, before the subs. Back in the days, I watched Jdramas raws because there were no subs. The very first ones were Yasha and Glass Mask (VHS). Funny thing is so many years later the subs came out I didn't even bother watching the subs. It was like I already knew the story.

It will take Japan, no all the asian countries, 100+ years to change. The government of Asian countries are extremely…
I do think JP dramas do have good stories regardless of which perspective they want to tackle but in the end, it's entertainment. They're disgusted with the concept of being "homo."

Fun Fact about Machida: he was supposed to debut as one of the members of the Exile boyband group but unfortunately,…
There's nothing he can't do. Machida is too elite. I'm amazed at the person who could find a real life Kurosawa/Machida and a real life Adachi/Akaso. Fit so well.

It's official! Cherry Magic will be distributed via WeTV for Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam very soon. Viki…
Heck, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam are really on the up and up. I don't like Viki because they don't even provide subtitles. They have to depend on the fans. Netflix really needs to get with the program. I will seriously consider to subscribe if they pick up Cherry Magic.

Not yet but looking from the cast, the male ain't too hot. I have some favorite artists but I don't see them in dramas much anymore. I actually don't really watch too many dramas nowadays because I'm feeling rather jaded but I heard there is this new drama starring Hiroshi Tamaki called Gokushufudou (Way of Househusband) that I wanted to check out. It's supposed to be very funny and I do like Hiroshi Tamaki. Reason why I went to Jdramas blog looking for info. Then I ended up finding Cherry Magic instead. Or else I would have missed Cherry Magic completely. Funny how fate works its ways.

Title Kairos
I was starting to ship them both but was feeling bad bc he is already married .. glad I will not feel like this…
I ship them anyways. I like scandalous romance.

I'm gonna call it before it happens cuz I'm pretty sure it's gonna happen. There's gonna be romance between the…
I don't care what people say. I will go down with main ship.

Yes. This episode does feel a tad bit light in content (as they shifted away from Adachi hearing Kurosawa's warm inner voice and I feel as if Kurosawa was ignoring Adachi in mid ep. But I love the drama so I can overlook that.) It would be so awesome if this is a full 1 hr drama show.

It's true. JP dramas are mostly reserved in the romance department. I don't watch JP dramas expecting emotional intensity because I think that's part of the culture so ingrained that it may be hard to change. They just aren't good with expressing affections and emotions. But I love JP romantic comedies like this. The story is focused on the main couple, has enough fluff and sweetness, a good bit of humor and a tinge of angst. When I think of emotional intensity, I think of Kdramas but they do come with irrelevant subplots of subplots and draggy stuff. (I just realized that I don't watch too many bl mostly because they don't pass my first aesthetic visual filter but I use the same visual filter for other genre as well.) I do see some strange bl stuff whipped together for views on youtube. And I was supposed to swoon with that.

so i know im late to the game but seriously, after 3 weeks with this series, my brain finally registered that…
I saw Eiji in "do you know, sensei?" or something like that months ago? I thought he's cute but for some reasons I never finished watching it because my mind started to drift. First time I saw Keita in Cherry Magic I thought he reminded me of other actors. His good looks isn't the type I'm attracted to. Gradually his acting won me over and I really like his Kurosawa. I also like Eiji in here than the glam Eiji in "do you know, sensei?" Eiji was so cute in bare face mode in the inst live chat. He's definitely a mood maker and a free spirit. Keita on the other hand is quite reserved. I like his relax self when he's in the chat with Eiji. They're both very good looking. It just dawned to me after I watched Cherry Magic.

I am glad that cherry magic is popular among us international fans but also upset that its not even as famous…
I really really hope that it will be more popular than how it is now because it deserves that attention. I've been watching dramas for more than 3 decades from different countries so I get picky. This show has everything I'm looking for and I appreciate that every much. Whether it's bl or whatever, I like quality show. Cherry Magic is among my favorites such as Nodame Cantabile, Hotaru no Hikari and Kekkon Dekinai Otoko but I like it the most in that it has the best chemistry. And for me, good chemistry is hard to come by.

Japanese BL/LGBTQ+ adaptations are so unique and refreshing. Although the characters are good-looking, they also…
JP is the pioneer in the BL dept. As for JP dramas, I like that they're to the point and not draggy with a bunch of unnecessary subplots.
