Title To My Star
one of my favorite bl's. no lgbti+fobia, no obsessive relationship, no sexual abuse, no cringe moments, etc. and i cannot go without saying: ji woo, i love you so much.

i am also not a fan of this bl. however, i think that the problematic part about this series is not lack of physical intimacy but femmephobia. i like physical intimacy in my personal life. although i see the lack of physical intimacy in this bl as a conservative maneuver, you claimed that it is not realistic. i do not agree with you at this point because i think that claiming "physical intimacy/sexual attraction is a must" is acephobia and allosexism. however, on all the other points, we are at the same side. by the way, your reviews are great please continue to write.

Title Why R U?
nothing more than cliche problematic fluffy romance. there is no storytelling. there is no narrative. but there is a scene which contains sexual assault.

Life is also horrible to live. All those things that you list are reality, and facts. I am gay and I like it when…
i donot say that homophobia shouldnot be added to tv shows. but in this drama, one of the main characters (type) is homophobic, femphobic etc. he is a very problematic and discriminative person, especially against fem gays. moreover, his boyfriend (tharn) clearly justifies it and asks people -who suffer from type's discriminative behaviour- to forgive him just because of type being in a bxb realitionship. this is also problematic. there are some gays/bis who are homophobic. their sexual orientations cannot justify their discriminative behaviours. they have to apologise and change their behaviours. type doesnot do neither. although it is true that all those things that i listed are reality, we have to change it. we have to quit romanticising those things. this drama romanticise a problematic person and a problematic relationship.

problematic and discriminative... it contains violence, homofobia, transphobia, femfobia, toxic masculinity, misogyny, toxic-obsessive relationship and much more. moreover there is no character development. it is horrible to watch.
