Issue with Kimura Fumino is that her character depth is half-cooked. Her background/past only explained trough small dialogue and her arc had an anticlimactic end.

Actually it's more of Satomi's spin-off because they summarize some key event in Keizoku, including some og character's fate.

I think that is one of mystery J-drama weaknesses, just pick the most famous person on that group to be the culprit/leader lol.

Decent follow-up, but could've focused on 1 story and develop it into a more suspenseful movie. The cgi/slow-mo water scenes are annoying.

Love some meta humor like they were conscious that EnKen was occasionally casted as Villain and Yashima Norito is the narrator of the story.

I think one of the approval staff made a character page for a certain character, i don't think that is really necessary since that page is blank.

Most of his (and his co-director) procedural/mystery drama have a really average start, but later on it is getting weirder and weirder. expect some weird a** twist later on (I haven't read the novel btw).

If you familiar with Tsutsumi Yukihiko and co, you know what will happen next.

Murai is the real MVP, man starting off as an abusive misogynistic boss but later he turns into a friend that reach out to you in your lowest point.
