Was able to really enjoy it—probably because I knew it is a zombie apocalypse comedy and not something to be taken too seriously. honestly, it was such a breath of fresh air in the usually serious zombie genre.
originally wanted to read the manga, but i saw the english translation wasn't updating despite it already being completed in japanese, so i had to watch this since the manga isn't getting any english translation. hopefully, though, the second season is the last, because i can't deal with the cliffhanger.

Of course, she’ll approve. Not every author gets live-action offers, so she’ll have to accept the changes, even if she doesn’t like them. At the end of the day, this is still her livelihood. But just because the author approved of it doesn’t mean the original fans have to like it. OG Fans have their own attachment to the original work and they cannot expect them to embrace a version that doesn’t capture the essence they loved.
