If you started watching this version and you've only seen 'Playful Kiss' it means you only have as references…
The Thai version Kiss Me is one of my favourites. The mother isn't so meddling and they give good reasons for the FL & ML personalities. Fall in Love at First Kiss is by far the best movie it has all the best scenes packed into it. Its a great pick me up.

Doesn't the fact that he's manipulative preclude him from being a good person?
