I'm so done with Korean romance shows. Why do writers keep giving us garbage like this with all the typical archetype of characters. Close-minded parents, tongue-tied emotionally immature male MC, naive female MC, and a love triangle that either devalues, or doesn't add at all to the story.

Nah, he has a point. They may not have made it to tell people that HJP has a connection, but they unintentionally made it look that way. Like I said, it's like they made the best doughnuts ever, only for them to be burned to toast marshmallows.
They set up one of the best back stories ever for HJP only for them to cast him aside and turn him into a second-lead? They either screwed up the writing or they're setting up one of the greatest rebounds in K-drama history.
I still hope my rebound theory is correct.
