Gosh it felt like I was intruding on something, as if I should be looking away cos they deserve privacy... damn those scenes were HAWT!!! Chemistry off the charts!!!
Seeing YT genuinely happy for, like maybe the first time during the show was both heartwarming, and heartbreaking, especially in light of tomorrow's episodes.
Ya know, geniuses can be too smart for their own good sometimes...
YT has so much on his plate already, I'm surprised he hasn't suffered some sort of breakdown. With his colleagues illness and his own issues, it's comforting to see him smile in the presence of JJ, cos he really needs it. Can't wait for their romance to begin...
At this point I feel like I'm the only one enjoying the gaming scenes (since I play a bit of moba myself), which…
Considering the game is used to illustrate important themes, conflicts, character developments and the journey they are on (among many other things), it makes me sad. People don't seem to realize that the game is actually an important 'character'. If people were to view the game in this manner, they'll begin to see many parallels and contrasts to the real world in this game.
Gosh, it's only been 8 episodes but man there is soooooo much to unpackaged from them. On the surface, the show appears to be very cute but dig a little deeper, and you find a drama dealing with very mature themes and real world issues. And I didn't realize at first how important the game (and their journey with it) was to the narrative.
I feel that the show needed another episode just to give it abit more of a satisfying denouement cos things did feel a little rushed in the end. Is a second season needed? Dunno - this season is more than enough to stand on its own without the need for another. However, if the novel has more story to tell, of course I wouldn't mind...
I was trying to keep myself calm but it's just too much mahn. Are they even fans? What connection does ZGDX losing…
Unfortunately, these public figures, whether they are esports stars, idols, etc., are nothing more than profit-generating goods/commodities to businesses. They are marketed as such, therefore consumers (aka. fans) who purchase tickets or merchandise or an album, etc., think that they a say in every aspect of their lives - it's sickening really. I'm glad a show like FIYS isn't shying away from showing us this toxic fan culture. I just hope it can generate some sort of discussion that will ultimately lead to solving this issue. Crossing my fingers...
Just now watched ep 23 and 24 with english subtitles. Bop scenes (my favourite)1. Lu Sicheng hitting Lu Yue when…
If she's 18 then she must be a real genius to have already graduated from university AND have a job in banking lined up for her ALL before joining ZDGX (wish I were that lucky at her age lol).
I know why you think that is so (as I, too, am confused as to why LSC said that). But it's clear that she's older than that - she even mentioned her age quite explicitly in an earlier episode. And everything that has happened are clearly done by a young adult, not a high school teen.
Only wish I could snap myself into next week so we can start enjoying their time together as a coupleโบ๏ธโบ๏ธโบ๏ธ

Bravo, cannot wait for the next episodes...
